We stopped by LA Hacienda Mexican restaurants on our way through Americus GA. We walked in and had to wait to be seated. Only had 4 people in the restaurant sitted down. They finally sat us down. We asked the lady that sat us, could she get some drinks. She said she wasn’t a waitress and that she would get our waiter. We thought that was kinda rude. She could have gotten it for us. All she did was walk over back and sat back down. Our waiter came. It was a guy. He was friendly. He apologized for the wait. He got our drink order and our food order. Wasn’t long our food came out. It was hot and tasty. By the time we left, it was getting busy. I had the chicken taco salad, and my husband had the fajita plate. We had cheese dip, too. Sweet Tea for me to drink and diet coke for my husband

My wife and I went here and the atmosphere is great and the service was too. The menu is filled with different delicious food items, so much on the menu it makes it hard to decide and I can recommend the chimichanga and I really loved the margaritas but get either middle shelf or top shelf cause bottom shelf made my wife a little bit sick for a little while.

I ordered Sumter grilled chicken plate, the chicken was so bland and so dried out, way over priced! $15.00 for dried out plain chicken with no onions or spices and a side of rice, NEVER Again!

Extensive menu, you will not leave hungry. House salsa is excellent and Margaritas are above average. One complaint is regarding our waitress, Rixi. Zero personality, never smiled and doesn’t listen to special requests. My wife specifically asked for corn tortillas because of her significant food allergy to flour. Rixi brought flour tortillas and looked dumbfounded when we corrected her. She truly gave the impression of hating her job!

Today was my first time eating here. I ordered a taco salad. I asked for a FEW fresh jalapenos. The top was covered in jalapenos. I asked for ground beef. There was not much ground beef at all in the salad. They put so much guacamole and sour cream, that it was soupy. So soupy, it swelled in my mouth. It was very bland, and not tasty at all. For it to be my first time, I wasn’t satisfied at all. In the trash it goes.

Let me start by saying we are regular customers for Laha. We know the owner and a good bit of the family and have always loved supporting this local restaurant but today was a terrible experience. We ordered take out and ordered our usual which is usually 45-50$ for everything. Today when my husband picked up our order they gave us 1 small bag of chips instead of two large ones like we ordered and always order. The girl working shook the receipt in my husbands face to “show” him that we didn’t order them when we in fact did. He literally watched me order them but he was still polite to her even AFTER she was ridiculously rude and proceeded to charge him an extra 11$ for the chips we already paid for!!!! On top of all of this they wanted 5$ for 3 extra EMTY taco shells. I’m appalled at the fact that our usual meal that cost 45$ was 66$ today as well as the absolutely AWFUL customer service and the food just being OK. Do better Laha. We won’t be back anytime soon.
