This location is a family owned authentic Mexican. They are known for the adobada. The green salsa is home made with a special kick. Nice seating area. Indoor or outdoor. Liz our cashier was such a delight. She helps her family running this location. If you want to support your local businesses. Try the “La Hacienda” and bring a big appetite.

This wonderful restaurant has been serving cuisine representative of central Mexico (Mexico City) for over seventeen years.

Absolutely great service. Very personable. We were served by the owner’s daughter. My wife had the carne asada and adobada fries with bits of pineapple. She loved it. Their agua de jamaica was delicious. Dessert was a churro sundae which didn’t disappoint. The vanilla ice cream was perfect. Definitely making this our North County spot.

The place was empty when I walked in, greeted about a minute after. I will say that the lady that was cashier was knowledgable and she did mention the specials, asked if it was my first time, checked up on me a few times during my dinner(this is not a sit and get waited on restaurant) For service, there is no complaint. Food is where I did not have such a good experience. My carne asada taco tasted like the meat had been sitting in oil for a while. On the other hand my tacos al pastor, the supposed famous ones. The meat was burnt meat and dry, no flavor what so ever. I expected that when I walked in and looked into the kitchen, I saw the pork meat(al pastor/adobada) on the trompo, but still gave it a try. It did not look so appealing, it looked like it had not been touched for a good time. When that happens, the meet dries out and burns since it hasn’t been rotated or touched. The restaurant looks really outdated, with dark brown interior. The thing that just tipped it over for a bad review, was the restroom it smelled like piss. Thankfully I only went in to wash my hands.

Ordered 30 minutes before closing. Staff was very kind but I did not get what I ordered and what I did get was some bad al pastor tacos with onions. I’ve never not finished my food but I really couldn’t do it. Maybe come during the day but definitely not on their closing hour. Flan was good and beer was good.

What kind of restaurant doesn’t have what’s on their menu? This place. Not the first time either. So today I tried again. Wanted the ques-birria tacos, they dont have those today. Ok how about the pozole soup, they don’t have this either today. Sad! I guess I’ll try another place.

Love coming here late at night for tacos. Love their antojitos. The pastor and cabeza is absolutely to die for here. I’m so glad I live so close. The food is always amazing here!

The restaurant had accidentally mixed up our tacos, and one phone call later they had our order fixed free of charge and even gave us a cheesecake on the house!! The staff was super nice and professional tonight. Love this place 🙂
