I ordered a combination plate with a smothered burrito and a chimichanga. Both were excellent! Pretty solid Mexican good across the board. Our server was super efficient, but he only came back once to refill drinks and then again to give us the check. I couldn’t track him down again to get more water before we left. From others I’ve talked to, that’s not an uncommon experience. If you need a faster meal, this is your place. The parking lot it pretty tight, so be mindful of other cars and pedestrians. Overall I’d eat here again.

The food here is great, no doubt about. The service is pretty good, but can vary depending on time of day and how busy they are. Interestingly we went on a less busy day and had alright service. But on a very busy day, nearly all seats filled, the service was phenomenal. You will find your basic American Mexican dishes here as well as some fancier fixings. If you are looking for a mid level Mexican cuisine this is the exact place you will want to go to!

This is my favorite restaurant, I always get the enchiladas, and they are so good! The last time we went though, a couple weeks ago, the salsa and enchilada sauce were very spicy, much more than usual. It seemed like our waitress was very busy and hardly came back to get us drink refills. Other than that, really good Mexican food!!

I never write reviews but I had to this time with how happy I was with everything. First time coming here. I was super happy with the service and the food was AMAZING!!! The waitress was super friendly and helpful as it was our first time here and my first time trying a margarita. I got the 2 smothered burritos and a blended margarita, my mother in law got the fajitas.we will definitely be coming back to try more menu items. This is going to a regular place for us. I definitely recommend trying this place.

What a great waitress we had in the visit!. I had an Asada Super Burrito and biy did it super full. My son had the Adobo Burrito, but it was a little too spicy (black pepper is too spicy for him). Overall good food great service!

I’m thinking I’d go 4.5 stars. It’s very comparable to the La Puente/La Fountain menus out there, foods as well as prices. Some things were definitely better here, but I personally didn’t care for their horchata versus La Puente. (I’m not sure if they use like cinnamon sticks and steep them in the rice milk or if they use an extract? It tasted like a cinnamon extract was used, but I am not familiar with horchata-making processes, so maybe this is a version commonly done. Just not my favorite compared to the horchatas where I see powdered cinnamon used.) I tried the ground beef chimichanga to compare what I usually get at LP, and it was really great. In addition to the beef it had onion, potatoes, cheese, just lots of flavor and extra goodies that pleasantly surprised me, and it wasn’t too greasy. My husband said the smothered burritos were better too, not as nostalgic but like a step up in flavor (and heat apparently). Beans and rice sides are just as expected and tasty. Their seasoned, crispy chips and salsa came right out and were tasty separately and together. I’d say a medium heat on their salsa, and less blended/more chunky. Ambiance was nice (TV playing music videos was eh; kinda distracting), lots of tables and booths in all directions around the restaurant, and overall clean (didn’t use restrooms). They brought the kids’ food out as soon as it was ready per our request so the kids wouldn’t have to wait for all the food to be ready, though ours came plenty fast still (about 5 on a Wednesday evening). Staff was nice and accommodating. We’ll go again, I’m sure!

I’ve always said you can tell how good a Mexican place is (if you aren’t looking for authentic) by how good their queso is. The fact this place doesn’t serve queso speaks volumes. When I walked in to eat, there was 1 other customer in the building, this was around noon. The staff was kind enough but didn’t go above and beyond. When the server asked how the food was and we told them we were disappointed they essentially said “sorry” and handed us the bill. The food was over priced and some of the most bland stuff I’ve ever tasted, their guac tasted almost watered down, their chips were cold, their salsa was decent. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and when I picked it up grease practically poured out, the person I was dining with ordered tacos that they chose not to finish. Needless to say we left hungry because we couldn’t bring ourselves to finish the food, we ended up eating at taco bell and the food there was great!
