When we Texans travel and find Mexican food that tastes like we never left Texas, we celebrate and write a great review!! La Herradura in Sheridan Wyoming has very good food. Flavored well and cooked to perfection. I had the shrimp fajitas and the shrimp were large and cooked to perfection.

Good Mexican food in an unassuming building. Dinner started with the obligatory chips and salsa (1 hot and 1 mild), both very good. For our entrees, we ordered the Tortilla Soup which was delicious (tipped with tortilla strips which I would have preferred on the side as I removed them) and the enchilada plate. Both are entrees we can recommend. The soup was a huge serving and plenty for another meal at home. Service was fair.

We dined outside it was beautiful, shaded, and comfy. The service was very quick and he made sure we had everything we needed. Oh, the food!! It was the best!! Huge servings, I had enough for lunch the next day. I highly recommend this place if you great food, service and atmosphere!

Found this place on the road trip. Nice enough staff, food was fantastic very good value for your money. The food came out hot and fresh, homemade tortillas. The chips also came out quite well and there’s salsa they give you two varieties of mild and medium both were just about perfect for a restaurant salsa.

Unfortunately for this restaurant there is street construction going on around them and it was raining which made sitting outside less of an option. I think the atmosphere would have gone up with outside dining. Nothing they could do about it. Everything was good and enjoyable. I like that they were playing Spanish music and the staff spoke Spanish. The chips were warm and the salsa was fresh.

Stopped in for lunch here today on our way through town and loved the experience. The staff was friendly and polite and we enjoyed listening to them chat with all of people who came in who were obviously regulars. The food was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere but it was the staff that made us wish we were from Sheridan so we could become regulars.
