Just a very solid overall restaurant. I was looking for a place to watch the NBA finals and this place had TVs. Ended up ordering some of their enchiladas and they were pretty good. Was craving for more portion, but maybe I was just an extra hungry boi that day. Seemed to be a great spot for big parties.

Fabulous Mexican food, I eat everything vegetarian. But friends have sample the Chiles en nogada.. I’ve sampled the non meat parts.. absolutely exquisite. Then.. the cocktails.. if you want to impress friends, family, or a date come here for the drinks and atmosphere.

As a Korean-American traveler who doesn’t know anything, I (*very mistakenly!*) expected “Koreanized” Mexican foods, as La Huasteca is located amidst the Korean marketplace. Boy was I wrong! This restaurant is some of the most authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve ever dined in. Everyone was nice to us (me and my father) and I felt welcomed as the employees responded to my requests and questions with a warm smile, even though we were a bit of an oddball in an overwhelmingly Mexican-y environment.

Chips and salsa are served upon seating and the chips are really crispy and have just the lightest oil feel (good thing). Taco flavors here are exceptional! Lots of people come here for drinks though we didn’t drink any but spotted a few other diners with sangria. Kylie, our server, was above and beyond: personable, reliable, and conversational and just super polite, even complimenting us as we sat down to generate immediate rapport. It was a slow weeknight but the food and service would likely still be just as good on a busier weekend. A great restaurant at The Source.

Chips are free here, recommend the cheese beef taco(quesa birra), taste good, good amount with around $4. For lunch, you can eat well within $15.

We came during happy hours so tacos were half off. All the tacos were delicious except for the shrimp and chorizo. We got the tamarind margarita and it was flavorful and light. If you like your drinks strong, you prob should order something else? First order of chips and salsa is free, next order will be 3$. The last thing we ordered was the French fries with asada. It’s quite a big portion, so it’s definitely worth 12.50$. Yes, I recommend this place during happy hours. There’s music playing over the loud speakers at all times. Waiter is nice and very accommodating of our two kids.

Food was good. We ordered the molcajete. Definitely enough food for 2 to 3 people. Got the flight of margaritas. The best one was the Tamarindo. The service was a little slow.

I ordered the chilaquiles for brunch. They were delicious, the eggs that came with the chilaquiles tasted like you would make them at home. None of that orange yellowish eggs. The salsa and chips they give you are also very tasty and spicy. I had the Jamaica mimosa, it was really good. It is located in a shopping center don’t let that change your mind of trying them out.
