The food was delicious I had the Beef taco salad which was fantastic. The chips and salsa were delicious. My friend had had chicken taco salad which she loved. This service was great very attentive but not over bearing. Frozen margarita s were great nothing but a great lunch will be returning . Highly recommend.

Their latest revamp to the menu (before temporarily closing) made the food pop. The flavor and dishes you would expect from a place like this. The food was never bad, per se. The new menu has not been disappointing in the 10+ dishes tried. My friend and I go at least once a week and order 2 different dishes each time, and another for her husband that changes. The drinks are well made, and the servers are great people as well as workers. I want them to open up again. They are worth your time and effort. The only drawback would be the salsa given with the chips; it’s bland and too watery. Other than that, only praises can be sung about this place and its staff.

Yum! My new favorite Mexican restaurant. We dined in, wait staff was very attentive, food was hot, fresh and full of flavor. We had fajitas ska ingrata and a chicken chimichanga. Their house salsa is also very good!

Downtown needs this restaurant to succeed hence my review. The atmosphere is nice. The food is not. I’m not certain the food is even being cooked on site. I’ve never eaten at a Mexican restaurant without my clothes smelling like I’ve eaten at a Mexican restaurant. No smell at all! I believe it’s possible the food is only being reheated. The chicken in our fajitas looked like the processed strips from the lunch meat section at the grocery store. The entire meal was tepid at best with little to no flavor.

We had a wonderful experience at La Ingrata! The food was delicious – we had chicken flautas and the molcajate bowl. The portions were more than ample (we had multiple meals from our leftovers) and super tasty. Priced very well. The molcajete bowl had all kinds of interesting goodies…Mexican sausage, cheese, nopales, ground beef, steak, chicken, shrimp, avocado, onion. Beautifully presented as well.

When we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a warm smile. The staff was very accommodating for our seating preferences and seated us as soon as we walked in. The server was prompt and extremely kind. Whenever we needed anything, she was always right there before we even had to ask. The food came out SUPER quickly, which was wonderful!

Very disappointed in the restaurant. The menu looks like it would be good and I love the decor inside. However, I have went twice and both times I had poor experiences. The wait staff were very slow, they got our orders wrong both times we went, and the food was cold with very little flavor. I really wanted to like this place. Will probably try again in a few months to see if they make any improvements and update the review if I have a positive experience.

Our waiter had to clarify our order multiple times. The cheese dip came out cold. The food was flavorless, lacking even just salt and pepper. The quesadilla was not constructed properly. The reviews on here more than 1 star must have also been drinking while eating. Avoid, just go to Taco Bell or any other food establishment.

Terrible experience! Visited the restaurant for the first time May 5th 2023 Cinco de Mayo. At this restaurant will call a Cinco de crapo! Generally at a Mexican restaurant they bring you chips and salsa out as soon as you sit down and water and drinks shortly thereafter. But at this restaurant we did not get any chips and after we ordered water and drinks we sat and waited for 45 minutes! The little waitress was running around doing a lot of nothing there was a lot of male workers standing around doing nothing! It got so bad that some of the members of our table went up to the bar to get their drinks and I don’t even know if the restaurant even charged him there was so much confusion. My wife and I left at the 45-minute mark and ate somewhere else. We already had our food and got a text from our friends 45 minutes later and they left too because they didn’t get any service! The table behind us also left. The restaurant was not prepared for Cinco de Mayo! Now if you have a Mexican restaurant, Cinco de Mayo is a major money making holiday for you. And it’s not like this holiday sneaks up on you! They should have been prepared! I heard all the other Mexican restaurants were prepared and very well organized. It’s like Valentine’s Day sneaking up on Hallmark and they not being prepared lol or Christmas sneaking up on FAO Schwartz. I predict this restaurant will be gone in 6 months!
