Great place for great food with an awesome atmosphere. Beautiful addition to downtown Greer. It is one of our favorite places to visit, and we highly recommend eating here. Servers and staff are super friendly and welcoming. The beers are served cold and the fajitas come out hot. Our experiences are always great.

We were met with a basket of tortilla chips and salsa, while we figured out what we wanted. The wine was good, fast service, I was a little disappointed in the Yolandas, lots of meat, but, I expected some kind of veggies in it too. Large selection of sides, the Mexican speghetti was good. My husband loved his dinner, but it didn’t come with sides. The portions were large. Give them a try, the place is spacious and has happy hour specials.

La Joya is just that, an absolute jewel! We had dinner here with my dad and we were blown away. Very authentic + great prices + wide variety. They even have a vegetarian menu. This place is a 10/10 and a great addition to Greer.

This food was some of the best, most fresh Mexican food we’ve had in a long time. We came in super late and we still received service with a smile. Highly recommend the guac, street corn and enchilada with their salsa verde. The entire table enjoyed their food. Our waitress was super kind as well.

I’ve ordered take out from La Joya before, but this was my 1st dine in experience. Restaurant was clean & waitress checked on me several times as did the owner. My food came out fresh, hot, & in a timely manner. The Guacamole Azteca & Special Shrimp Burrito was delicious. Both had good flavor that was not overpowered by salt or sauce. I would come & dine again. Great addition to downtown Greer!

If you’re looking for a great Mexican restaurant in downtown Greer, look no further than La Joya! The food is excellent and very fairly priced, and the drinks are great too. The atmosphere is family-focused, making it a great place to bring the kids. We’ve been waiting for a place like this to open up in downtown Greer for some time, and we’re thrilled that La Joya has finally arrived. The service is friendly and attentive, and the menu has something for everyone. We highly recommend giving La Joya a try!

Great addition to the Downtown Greer restaurant scene! We had an amazing lunch there today. I had the Pollo Fundido and my husband had the beef nachos. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly including the owner who greeted us personally and made us feel welcome. They atmosphere is very relaxed and the prices are quite reasonable. Can’t wait to dine there again.

Stumbled into the lovely La Joya for lunch – what a delight! Superb service. Clean and pleasant atmosphere (not “fancy,” but I loved the cloth tablecloths.) Good complimentary chips with slightly spicy salsa. We shared an AMAZING dish of grilled shrimp, scallops, and tilapia with assorted vegetables over 1/2 grilled pineapple, the whole dish drizzled lightly with queso. Everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly spiced, and perfectly delicious! Our bill, including 1 beer and 1 wine, was less than $30.00 (before tip.) The owner/chef (?) seemed to be delighted with our enthusiasm and invited us to return soon. We will, to be sure!

Stopped in with a group of 4, waitress seated us and took drink order, took about 15 minutes to get water’s to the table. We ordered from the bar, I got a traditional margarita that was so sour you could not drink it. I ordered chicken fajitas thinking that would be good. It came out not sizzling like most places, had about a 1/4 of a sliced chicken breast and almost no vegetables. I counted 9 pieces of sliced onion and pepper. What I did get was not seasoned . Overall a very poor experience.

Food was good, and they have a very large bar, which could be better utilized. Needs to be more “Bar” in the Bar & Grill, meaning not just a restaurant, get some people in at the bar for 9PM+. Seems empty past dinner time.
