Our first trip to La Kabob was great. The lunch special is a great value. You get a cup of soup and a meal large enough for two! The chicken with hummus and rice was excellent. The fresh baked pita bread was also a big hit!

We are out of town from Memphis, TN visiting relatives here in Detroit, MI. I saw the reviews and had to eat here since it was near our hotel.

My son and I ordered the Lamb Combo for 2 and left with plenty of leftovers. We also ordered a carry out Chicken Shawarma sandwich that was huge. The food was delicious. The staff/owners were friendly and fun. Prices were fair, however,I think I’d include the bread and garlic sauce as part of the meal instead of as an appetizer. Regardless, we’ll definitely go back to this restaurant.

Second time there. First time we had the mix grill platter. This time we tried the combo platter. Both were good, but I prefer the mix grill. The fresh baked bread is always a pleasant addition to the meal.

Every time we are in the area we use to go to Palm Palace, but that is now closed. So we did a Google search and tons of places showed up. I read the reviews and this one had a comment on how amazing the bread and garlic was. BOOM…that’s where we are going!!! Omg I am so glad we did! The food was amazing! Some of the best I’ve ever tasted! Not to mention the server and other staff were a pure joy with amazing and fun personalities! We have found our new spot when in town! Peace out Palm Palace!

I ordered a meat shawarma half tray with fries. They put the meat and fries in the same tray, but the tray was mostly fries. This picture show how much fries was left even after we ate from it. The fries were disgusting and were mostly left uneaten. The meat shawarma was ok, but the meat seemed a little old and dry. The chicken shawarma sandwich wasn’t good at all.

This evening I dined in and was disappointed with what was served. The baba, hummus and garlic sauces were good but, everything else was lacking. The gentlemen who served and took our orders were very pleasant. I asked for a frozen lemonade and, received an unsweetened unfrozen lemon beverage. My lamb chop dinner needed more seasoning, even salt would’ve been accepted. There were also the random fries on each of our plates even though we didn’t order any. This place needs to focus more on the flavors of their foods. Not returning any time soon.

A group of us were in town for the Battery Show and looked for a local Lebanese restaurant for dinner out. We decided to try La Kabob and let’s just say it was a fantastic experience! The waiter was super responsive, the food was fresh and hot, the salad was well prepared (loved the spiced dressing!!), the dishes were well presented, and there were plates of plentiful amounts of food. We had hummus, garlic dip (great smooth garlic hit), Baba ganoush(awesome smokey flavor, meat dolma, and then split the large platter for 6-8 which was an amazing amount of food (shawarma, kabob, Kafka, shish tawook, and more). We had plenty of takeout to enjoy later. Loved the homemade pita from the brick oven. We also got some of the blended juices and they were very good. Highly recommended restaurant. The location is very unassuming. We will be back for sure next year and will recommend to others visiting to the novi area! Pardon the run on review but still recovering from the garlic and meat sweats!! Yum!

Great hidden gem. We arrived about 45 mins before closing time and ordered our dinners. We were not rushed at all, service was excellent. Dinner was a shish tawook plate and by far the best I have ever had. Their fattoush was excellent and the portions were large. I would highly recommend checking La Kabob out!!!
