This place used to be great but they’ve gone downhill. The poor lady in the front looked over work and tired as hell, definitely not smiley. When I informed her there was a gnat on one of the tarts she didn’t seem bothered. She didn’t even remove it from the cabinet and left it there indefinitely for someone else to buy and enjoy. Also, there was mildew all over every broccoli and they forgot my extra mushroom sauce. I had ordered extra but they included 1/2 a serving. I was actually scared to eat my food, so I’m going to leave and just eat somewhere else.

We walked in at 1:15 on Saturday for lunch. We stood and waited for anyone to say hi. A make was preparing food facing us and refused to look up and say hi. A female came over and scooped an entire container of lettuce face to face with us and never said hi and literally darted away. A young male came over to serve us and said “do you need any salad or soup”. No one ever said hello or sorry for the wait. They only had cold chicken for the salad which La Madeline is known for their warm chicken. He had no kids menu to offer us and said he would go over it at the register. We ordered strAwberries and they handed us a bowl of brown literally old strawberries. This place has gone down hill. The bathrooms were not useable and had several uses in each one, unflushed. Disgusting. We will never be returning. I have come to La Madeline since I was 16 and I am now 40. Very sad to see.

Good food. Great service. The tomato basil was amazing I always love it! A bit disappointed in my parisian, which I ordered on sour dough but they burned the bread and didn’t hardly put any mayo on it. They did give me some extra when I asked for it and that improved it. Will go back to asking for it on the croissant.

I was very disappointed to walk in early one Sunday morning to see the cashier using her bare hands with very long fake nails handling strawberries and putting them on a shelf for patrons. The other young woman was wearing one glove. I watched them for about 5 minutes as I was deciding rather to get my breakfast to go, I had planned to eat inside but instead opted to just leave. Food sanitation is ultra important. They were both young Hispanic women. I hope someone teaches them the importance of how to handle food.

Ordered food for delivery for the office and two people’s food was completely missing and the sides or extras added on were not included for the people that did get their food. We tried to call them 3 times and got no one on the phone. Got in touch with their call center and they tried 3 times to call them with no luck. Finally, the 8th time we were able to get someone on the phone. Not a good experience and we won’t be back.
