The food is ok but they have no spoons. Their primary food offering is soup. They lady said they were washing them but it would be a while…,,let that sink in. Clearly the management is suspect here

This is a good place to take the family for a late relaxing lunch. The food is pretty tasty and the coffee for me is hit or miss. I would fault that for young hires and that’s ok. Definitely recommend.

Most of the time I love their baked goods but they never have anything available. I went to their website to order online but instead decided to stop at the camp Bowie location and the girl in the front basically said they didn’t have anything nor did she even know what we were talking about when we tried to order. She didn’t know they offer lemon muffins, Nutella croissant muffins, etc. We left with one plain croissant and a chocolate croissant since apparently that’s all they had so either she didn’t want to sell to us, too lazy to go look or ask or they have a misleading website.

Took my roommate’s kid here, and she really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, she was made to feel small and uncomfortable by adult patrons. A woman shoved in front of us in line to get drinks and almost ran into me shortly after. Then, despite the restaurant being uncrowded, more adults followed with similar behavior. It was very overwhelming for her being in a new environment. I’ve never seen this behavior towards one child repeated in such rapid succession. The staff saw the drink line things and didn’t say anything, which is okay. It was just a lot at once. These people weren’t even together, lol! I do hope there is a plan in place for such behavior that may continue to escalate.

What I liked: food had flavor. Dessert met expectations. The staff was really nice – especially the manager, who was very professional and courteous in handling a billing error. What I thought missed the mark slightly – compared to other La Madeleine’s I’ve been to – the cleanliness at the front could have been better. The floor was wet and it felt more like a fast food joint rather than a cozy french bistro. (That’s why I’ve taken off 1 star.) The internal seating areas (both , to the left and right) are not obviously visible but I’d recommend getting a table in those areas for a more cozy feel. (Wouldn’t do outside seating as the location is very average.)

I get my mother food here often and we usually love everything. Today I picked up food to go bc my mom is in the hospital and can’t stand the food there. I paid $33 for two breakfasts and we didn’t get the croissant that was supposed to be included in the meal. Zero napkins and zero plastic ware. It was such a bummer to spend that kind of money on food and then not get what you paid for.

It’s a very “bonjour y’all” kind of place. Elements of classy French mixed with down-home Southern friendliness. I had the chicken la Madeleine and it was fantastic! Can be quite busy at times.

The cashier spelled my name incorrectly, blamed it on a turn around shift. They left the Cresent off my order. When I called them to let them know about it. They wanted me to drive back to get it. Not credit it or comp my meal, or even. Offer a half off my next meal.

The food is good, it’s a cute restaurant. But oh my lord the management is horrible! Especially Rachel, she’s very rude and seems to always have an attitude. I’m not sure who put her in charge but I really hope the hire ups really reconsider her management position. And don’t even try and call, half the time they answer the phone they are always very snippy with you. I think I’ll start using the Hulen store, hopefully that one has better service.
