This place is really good. Coming from the midwest, I thought it would be rough finding authentic Mexican food. Well, this hit the spot, from the delicious al pastor to the very flavorful menudo. They added so much tripe to the soup I was blown away. Mid west, they add hominy to menudo and less meat. Fantastic authentic Mexican food I will definitely be a regular while I’m in iowa.

Ordered cheese and onion enchiladas, staff was confused. Not smothered in any enchilada sauce, and the cheese was never melted. Served cold. Asked for no sour creme but they tried to hide it under lettuce and tomato. Very disappointed

Ordered through eat street. Fajita came in a bowl of tomato sauce which was the first time I ever saw that. Too saucy, I didn’t like it. Also got chips and salsa and the salsa was 90% onion and didn’t have any other flavors. I might try something else another time but didn’t like anything I ordered first time. Too much cilantro.

What a selection! Every type of meat is available including goat. Tacos are simply meat and cilantro with sauce. Quality ingredients. Will be back to try the many other plates. Dining area is sparse with cafeteria style seating.

Absolutely my favorite place to go for street tacos. They have great variety, traditional style AND Americanized options, and the newly renovated eating space is spacious and comfortable. Their sauces alone are freaking amazing and worth the trip if you dig things on the spicy side.
