Been around pizza all my life. Wooster Street always a favorite, but I gotta say LaMonaco’s in Northford has been our go to for years now. They are consistently the best our family has had, ever. The folks down there are delightful and kind and the food is outstanding. This time, they had pizza and I finished a large calzone that was the best I’ve ever had. Been meaning to write this review for a long time now. But finishing a Foxon Park White Birch beer was the perfect time to praise my local treasure.

Pizza was excellent!!! I’ve had some of the best pizza in the world- Italy, New Haven & my own- but this pizza hands down was the best! If I did not call the wrong place I would’ve never of found it!! Worth the 20 minute drive!!

First time eating here and it was delicious. I was expecting only one chicken patty with my chicken parmigiana and pleasantly surprised by 2. The portions were perfect and the gentleman working there were very nice. Thank you for a great meal.

What can I say, except, THE BEST !!! Found LaMonacos 30 years ago when we moved to Wallingford about 2 miles from the restaurant. Now we live in Northford and still going strong, only place we order from. Have introduced some new friends, also, after complementing the pie and asked where it came from when visiting. Italian brothers & family who are passionate about handmade Pizza. Been going almost weekly for years. Consistent quality & reasonable prices. They also make excellent grinders, I highly recommend there chicken Parmesan grinder. Hand breaded chicken cutlets. Highly recommend.

Usually we get a great hot pizza. We ordered a sausage and pepper pizza for a certain time. It was ready. But we knew instantly it was ready a lot earlier than we ordered. There was hardly any sausage on it and it was cold. First time we ever were disappointed
