I haven’t been to Oaxaca before, but I’ve been to Mexico City a few times. The mole at La Oaxaquense compares with what I’ve had in Mexico. The perfect balance of sweet and savory. The salsas and homemade tortillas were the perfect complements. Tender chicken. Can’t ask for more.

We have been coming here for some time now because the food is good however, the customer service needs some adjustments. I placed an order at 9:40pm and specifically said no onions twice to the cashier. When I got my order at 10:00 it had onions. I gave my order back to the lady and she gave me an ugly look and started picking out the onions. She gave me back my order and it obviously had onions still on it since she hadn’t picked all of them out. I gave it back to her and said if she could remake it and she said to not scream at her. I was taken back since I was not screaming at her. She said I would have to wait 10 more minutes and I said that was fine. I got my order back but honestly I didn’t eat it. Not sure of the lady was in a bad mood or not but they lost us as customers.

Delicious food and authentic Oaxaca style food served in real “barro” plates, with amazing hand made tortillas. Hard to believe it’s a “Food truck”. It elevates the standard of ethnic food from a food truck. I will be back and refer everyone I know to it. 100% Authentic.
