The food is delicious and my grandpa’s margarita looked amazing. The service was really the selling point. I left my bag and we called a couple days later ( we went Saturday night and they are closed Sunday). They had my bag right there, made sure to get the name of my grandpa ( we don’t livebi. California) and made sure the right person picked it up! Can’t recommend enough!

Fast service and comfortable atmosphere. Total time from being seated to getting our check was under an hour. Everyone ordered something completely different, and it was all out to us promptly. This is the perfect place to grab a very tasty lunch!

Little dark and old school, but the food was delicious and authentic. The atmosphere is a little on the not so new side with bathrooms that are not compliant for anybody that isn’t under 85 lbs, parking is tight, but overall a decent experience. It a real good local hangout.

Go for the food and the bar is pretty nice! We went to dinner to try out the food and hired them for my sister’s celebration of life! Everyone, 150 guests, said they enjoyed the food. Friendly and reliable, during a difficult time they came through (in less than a week!).

Resturant with bar and they Close at 9p on a Friday… The food isn’t what it used to be. Nothing special. Margaritas are served in little glasses you get water in. Taste like margarita mix.

Great service, very friendly. I have never had rice and bean soup topped with cabbage. Vegitarian and so delicious. Strawberry margarita delicious and the flour tortillas flautas were yummy.

Absolutley the World’s Greatest Cheese Enchilada. Everyone has Tacos, everyone has Carne Asada and Beans and Rice. Only Bernadette and Lapalapa have their World Famous & Greatest Cheese Enchilada. We’ve looked everywhere, nothing comes close. Lapalapa or Lapa as the locals call it has been a staple of our Family for nearly 40 years! Local Owned all these years!

Lakeside’s Best Kept Gem! It’s in a very unsuspecting location in a tiny shopping center. But everything in it is perfection right down to the amazing food, consistently speedy and friendly service, specials/reasonable prices, and overall family atmosphere (or the small bar-scene sectioned off on the other side for dual pleasure). Margaritas are strong. The shrimp plate is a fan favorite. This is by far our favorite restaurant discovery since moving to Lakeside! Bonus points being able to support a family owned business with loyal and long-standing employees.
