This is my favorite Mexican restaurant, and I don’t even live in Missouri. They make their guacamole tableside, it is fresh and delicious. Their queso is very tasty, too.

I usually don’t leave a review but this place is so bad I feel obligated to share my experience to warn people. Fajita was very dry and flavorless. Their house margarita was good. But my main point of this review is their customer service. One of the employees came up to us almost accusing us of laughing at our server when we were just having our own conversation. When we told her we weren’t, no apologies whatsoever. No one smiles or even a single thank you the entire time we were there. The older lady with glasses who came to our table, I thought she came to start a fight. Very aggressive and unprofessional. Ruined our time. Don’t come here if you are looking to have a good time. We obviously will not go back.

Extremely rude staff. Will never return. Our drink order was taken by a young woman who didn’t understand or speak a word of English. Our waitress then came and took our food order about 20 minutes later, way too long of a wait. I stated I wanted rice, with grilled chicken, and queso of which she stated that was the Jasmine Special. The next one at our table ordered shrimp fajitas. Our food came out, being delivered by the woman who didn’t speak/understand English. My food came out as the Jasmine but with grilled shrimp instead of chicken. I told her I ordered chicken and not shrimp and she looked at me and walked away. Our waitress returned and I stated my order was wrong and she immediately became combative and argumentative stating I ordered shrimp. I am allergic, I would never order shrimp. She continued to argue with me then she said it was a misunderstanding on both our parts and to not give her a look. I was not giving her any sort of look and the two other people in my party was appalled at her poor and argumentative behavior and backed up the original order and her mess up. She never returned to our table to check on us, provide napkins, or refill drinks. A third girl finished the transaction by bringing our checks. There were three other occupied tables in the restaurant. Absolutely no reason for such terrible customer service.

Almost never wrote a bad review, I used to work at food industry, I know how struggle these small business are, especially after the pandemic era. But today, I had the worst experience ever. Food was overpriced for this kind of quality, drink was alright but again, overpriced. $11 for a cocktail and tasted no alcohol, our waitress acted really shy( probably because not really speaking English), but she got our orders right, so no complains. But this Carmen lady, the host/manager/cashier, out of no where, came to our table and accused us of laughing at the waitress, when we were minding our own business, having a pleasant talk. Gave us a really mean side eyes and left without apologizing, later on dropped our bill on the table. I was almost ready for a fight with her but then I know it’s not worthy. Will never return to this restaurant and I will for sure tell my friends and family about this experiences as well. And this manager, if you are so sensitive about your waitress’s performance, instead of going to customers accusing them laughing at her, might want to find somebody(besides you, absolutely NOT you) to train her. Adios.

Went at 1pm on a Thursday. Not too busy. Seated and served quickly. Had the California burrito. Big and yummy. Not very spicy, added little Tapatio hot sauce, just right. Prices are a bit higher than you might see at other Mexican restaurants, by $2-$3, but atmosphere and presentation is a bit “fancier” too. Will be back, probably will get the same thing.

I’ve never written a customer review before on a restaurant but the service here was so atrocious I feel compelled to do so. My wife and I walked in to get a table for four, (we were meeting our friends for dinner). The girl at the register didn’t even acknowledge our presents. We stood there with no other patrons waiting in line for over 10 minutes. A hostess, and waiter walked right by us…still nothing. Finally after about 5 more minutes a male waiter, (cold greeting who must hate his job) asked us how many, we said four. He seated us and our friends arrived shortly thereafter. The waitress finally came and had the most miserable look, as if we were bothering her. We ordered and after a long wait the food arrived. My wife asked for more salsa after we had to reach out to the waitress, and we got the impression she wasn’t happy about serving us. I never seen such a glum attitude amongst so many employees. The food was okay…we’ll NEVER GO BACK THERE!

Took awhile to get seated when very few people eating. Took even longer to get chips and salsa and the chips were just the crumbs from the bottom of the bag. Ordered a taco salad and it had boiled chicken with no flavor underneath some salad from a bag of mixed lettuce and some shredded cheese. Absolutely the worst horrible taco salad I’ve ever had
