Yes, Yes, Yes!!! I grew up in California and ate good taco shop all my childhood. This is amazing food with real authentic taste. I especially enjoyed the fresh guacamole with the freshman chips. I’m pretty sure the horchata is homemade from scratch. Love it love it love it. This is my favorite Mexican food place now. Yummy

First visit, so only one dish to judge from. The chips were not the cheap, thin ones, so that was nice. My burrito was covered with a decent, if thin, queso and a small portion of verde sauce. I would have liked more, but the flavor was definitely there. The meat was what I expected, canned chicken, but it was obviously grilled and not just “out of the can” – which I appreciated. My margarita was a bit weak, but I was assured that they put a “whole bottle” of tequila in their 5-gallon batch of margaritas. I assume it was a 750ml bottle. That was a bit of an eye opener. All-in-all, not bad for a Midwest taqueria.

I feel bad for the people leaving 5 stars cause this was by far the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had! I could literally squeeze oil out of the tortillas, the sopes weren’t actual sopes and hard as a rock with very dry queso fresco. The menudo had a foul smell as well. Agua Fresca was decent but didn’t make up for the food.

We did a to go this time and the food was amazing. The service was even better. The last time we went my husband left his wallet there and they returned it when we went in. This place is always enjoyable.
