AMAZING!!! Soft opening tonight with the grand opening on 8/25. Belmont was great before, but La Patroncita makes Belmont amazing! The best upscale authentic Mexican food I have had in Portland. The bar and bartender were amazing. Adding the agave to the margarita was fabulous and don’t worry I had 2. The restaurant is well laid out, and clean. Parking is street parking. There is options for dine in or take out. Portions were ample and the food was delicious! The guacamole was on point and the chips are made fresh in the kitchen. It’s worth every penny and we all love a great new restaurant in Portland. Check it out and say hi to Lucy, as it is woman owned and run!

Everything about La Patroncita is amazing from the truly authentic Mexican food to the beautiful and classy restaurant to the comfortable yet sophisticated vibe! It is SO worth your time to go!!! Be sure, if you can, to order your food with the pink tortillas… they have the restaurants logo on them and they’re super fun!

What a fantastic place! Everything about our experience at La Patroncita – from the delicious food & the stylish space, to the warm hospitality of the staff – was top-flight! Margaritas & enchiladas were both 10 out of 10 and this was during their 1st week of being open. I can only imagine what our next visit will be like. Actually, I probably shouldn’t be writing this review around dinner time, because now this very authentic restaurant is all I can think about. Yummm

The interior design is beautiful and the food is delicious! I ordered the tacos and a cocktail and they were all great. I really liked how the pink tortillas were a little thicker. I’m definitely making this a regular spot!

Beautiful spot, but disappointing service. We were sat in front of the bussing table, which made it very uncomfortable. We paid $70 for 2 meals and a cocktail that we waited almost an hour for. My partner received their nearly warm food after 40 minutes. We weren’t served water until we asked again, as we waited another 15 minutes for my food. I did my best to like this place but will not be returning.

Dang I wanted to like this place. They need to completely rethink their flow. Walk in to a “Please wait to be seated” sign, however, the sign means nothing, you’ve gotta go to the counter, wait to talk to the very kind gentleman, then maybe get your name written on a random piece of paper. When your name is called, you’ve got to stand back in that same line to place your order before you get seated. I hope they work out their system. So much potential. So little thought.
