First time in. Chips very stale to start. Asked girl do you have others, she said no and walked away. Pics on site show clean cooler and beautiful paint job, clean, fresh look. NOT at all how it is. The place is filthy, the cooler and drink station just eww. The young girl serving us was not friendly. Big attitude. But the tacos were good and the chicken fajitas were decent. I didn’t want to stay but was out voted. Wouldn’t go back unless they cleaned it up but has some potential.

Absolutely the very best Mexican food we have had in Florida. Period! The p pork nachos were spot on and the three different tacos I got were all very good with the different meats being both very different but all equally outstanding. The tongue and tripe were my favorites!

After traveling outside of southern California for the past 7 years, it has been impossible to find a Mexican restaurant with true baja flavor. The food at La Perla is outstanding, and the service is excellent! There were five of us here today, and we will return regularly.

I regret to say that I do not recommend La Perla Mexican Restaurant based on my recent experience. Initially, we tried to call and place an order, but it went to an inbox, leading us to drive to the restaurant instead. We placed a Togo order in person for two orders of birria tacos, which were quickly filled. However, I found the tacos to be disappointing as they lacked flavor and depth. The absence of cinnamon and clove, along with soggy red tortillas, left much to be desired. Additionally, there was no side of chopped onion and cilantro, but there were small portions of red and green hot sauce and a tiny dollop of guacamole. The consommé was also bland and lacked any discernible pepper or spice flavors. Overall, the food tasted very basic and lacked the exciting flavors I expected. While it’s possible that it was just an off day, considering the abundance of dining options available, this one chance to impress fell short. Unfortunately, I have no desire to return to La Perla Mexican Restaurant. I had hoped for a better experience, but it did not live up to my expectations.

The food was amazing. Even after I had it as leftovers, it tasted even better true authentic Mexican food. It did take them awhile to notice that we were there and I noticed when a Mexican family walked in, they served them immediately but me and my cousin (we’re black) came in and sat for atleast 6/7 mins before they even acknowledged us even though looked at us a few times. That would be the only thing I can critique. But the food is great prices and good af. I’d recommend going here. The quesabirrias were SO good. Better than the Birria tacos. They’re made with the same thing just different ways and they both come with the birria dip.

I grew up in a Mexican family. I’m pretty hard on Mexican food restaurants. This place is one of the best I have ever visited. We ordered for pick up, a big order. Everything was there. Nothing missed. The quality and flavor was legit! The staff were friendly. I’ll be ordering food from this place exclusively from now on. Que Rico!

Server brought out stale chips and the menus were paper versions that were dirty. The experience was rather off putting. We told the waitress it was our first time being there and we got met with “ok” and an eye roll.
