Our first time going was because we noticed it coming home and how close it was to us. So a few days later we decided to go for lunch. Hot damn is it amazing!! Fast forward a few weeks to today being my birthday. The hubby and kiddos took me back for lunch again. The second go around was still excellent all the way around from the time we entered to the time we left! We decided to try something different, and the chef was on point with every plate!! The food, the service, atmosphere, and every staff member we came in contact with were friendly and kind! We even got to meet the owner, and he truly cares about his place and everyone that steps foot inside! That is amazing! Check out these dishes I got pics of! But don’t take my word for it. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Lake County. I frequent Mexican restaurants regularly and I rarely give 5 stars. La Perla Tapatia earned that. Maria was also an excellent server. Ask for her section when you visit, you won’t be sorry! Also – get the jumbo classic margarita on the rocks!

The dirt parking lot is massive and with some handicapped paved spots near the entrance. The outdoor patio has a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere and the indoor area is spacious and clean. This is a great place to visit!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now, and my husband and I finally chose it for date night. It was amazing! Walking in it was so warming, and we were greeted with a very friendly service staff. The food came quickly but was well cooked and tasted amazing! I got a beautiful margarita, but won’t be trying that one again. Also, I suggest asking what something is if it is in Spanish and you don’t speak it But the experience was spectacular and we will be going back very soon. Highly recommended!

This is our “go to place” for Mexican! I enjoy trying different menu items and La Perla takes pride in a number of authentic Mexican entres and I’ve never had anything that wasn’t very good. Maria was our server for lunch today and as all the previous times and service she was excellent as were all the others. Good Mexican food, good service and fair pricing. How could you go wrong? You can’t at La Perla Tapatia so if you haven’t tried it you really should.

Was waiting for my tire to be fixed So I walked over to the ooh this restaurant to have lunch. I sure was glad I did! The ambience was lovely and peaceful even with big screens The only complaint I have is that I was brought my check before being asked if I would like to have any dessert! Give them a try!

Wow, better tacos than I eat in Mexico. My server, Maria, was simply the best. She is warm and attentive- on the top of her game. A real pleasure. But all the servers do a great job! What a great experience. This is the 3rd time here, and honestly this is the best of Mexican restaurants in Mt Dora, Leesburg and surrounding area. I’m hooked.

This place has been remodeled and under new management. Nicely redone inside and out. They have a mariachi on Friday evenings. Food was great! They have this cheese and quac taco this is my new favorite! Staff were all pleasant. Carve out some time and visit!
