Great place to rest and enjoy your evening. I went there because of a train delay. The staff were so nice that they allowed me to stay longer and charge my phone. I had a drink, a starter and an entree. The portion came out decent. Great quality for this price.

Really friendly people here and the lunch deal is an absolute steal. You get a nice portion of pasta, delicious thin crust pizza, bread, and a drink for $10. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and I really like the feel of this restaurant. They also offer a bunch of sweets for dessert (the chocolate cake was very tasty)

Absolutely wonderful. Pleasant vibe, friendly staff, and the spaghetti is genuinely AMAZING- I adore spaghetti, sometimes I eat it three times a day (my diet is not good but my spaghetti tastes are refined probably) and this is genuinely in my top 5 favorite spaghettis of all time. In addition, the staff did not judge me for requesting cold pepperoni on the side. (It’s really good in spaghetti trust me) I had the lunch special priced at $6 a couple of days ago, and the amount you get for the low price is pretty decent! The dinner price, which I’m eating right now as I type this, was closer to $13 and the portion size was doubled, with way more bread. I don’t live in Illinois, but with spaghetti like this so accessible, I almost wish I did. I will miss this pasta deeply upon my departure from this state. I want to try the pizza next time, but I’m afraid of getting even more emotionally attached! Though my wording of this review may be goofy and chaotic in nature, I assure you that every word is sincere and genuine. Thank you La Pizza Cucina Italiana for showing me how to love again 🙂

Went for lunch and wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I feel comfortable saying that this place is the best fast-casual Italian food in Springfield. The lunch specials are priced very competitively, include a drink, and the owner working the cash register was extremely friendly and inviting. I will definitely be back!

The food was tremendous. I had the Margherita pizza and it was tasty. The IPA they had was perfect and light. The guy who appeared to be running the place (maybe owner) was delightful, helpful, and welcoming. I would recommend this place especially for those in the area and trying to figure out where to eat while in town.

My nephew picked this restaurant for lunch and we are so glad he did! I shared the Caprese half salad and fig and prosciutto pizza. The crust was more of a cracker crust. Everything was delicious. They have a nice selection of drinks you can’t get other places too. Check them out.

Within easy walking distance from The Lincoln Presidential Library Museum. The staff was friendly and welcoming . We purchased the Pick 2 for $10 Lunch special (which includes a refillable drink!). There were VEGETARIAN options in each category on the menu–soup, salad, pasta, sandwich, and pizza–and our lunches were fresh and delicious. If you are on the hunt for great food at a reasonable price (and ESPECIALLY if you’re looking for vegetarian options), go to La Piazza Cucina Italiana. Phenomenal!
