This place used to be named “El Rinconcito”, and is now called “La Placita Taqueria”. Same business and staff, and menu has more to offer. I would suggest stopping by, as they also have a sister shop with ice cream to offer.

Do not recommend coming here. Very dirty place and staff lack hygiene the waiter had dirty nails and the waitress had fake nails and long hair and just wearing a sweater . They didn’t have plastic silverware or even bottled ketchup. My veggies burrito had no flavor at all and french fries were not good and no flavor as well!! Hope this review helps make better changes.

Wanted to try a new place,so I went. The Staff were rude and acted like I was a bother for ordering food.When we got the food, the tacos were almost just tortillas and guacamole. Very little meat,almost no cheese and no sour cream, which I paid extra for. The Tacos were like $4.25 a piece. We ordered 8 Tacos and there was maybe 2 Tacos worth of Asada all together in the 8. To top it off,people who came in after us were ordering and getting their food and leaving, while we waited what seemed like forever. I spent $63 on the food and I was completely disappointed by it. Horrible service, over priced and not what you are paying for. I’d give 0 stars if it would let me.

Ordered thru DoorDash a Super Carne Asada burrito. My first order at this new place in Lodi. I was pleasantly surprised with how packed with meat this burrito was. The carne asada meat was flavorful and not dry. There was plenty of avocado in it; not overpacked with beans/rice to make up for the avocado or meat. This was a big burrito! I enjoyed it and can’t wait to try other items here.

Unfortunately, the food was disgusting and I am very unsatisfied, it feels like I didn’t even eat. They took forever to bring the food and the food had no flavor. The place is dirty and the staff seems unorganized. Very disappointing, and I would not recommend this place.

The food tastes good, the bad thing is that when you ask for a dish they don’t give you tortillas I asked for a seafood molcajete and they didn’t give me rice or beans or even tortillas on the little islands and girls you ask for a molcajete and they give you rice, beans and tortillas and disposable plates by the way they don’t even clean the shrimp
