Thoughtfully prepared Mexican food. The salsa and the guacamole dips were excellent. I had 3 different street tacos and they were very good. The beans were prepared in house and were tasty. The service was also wonderful. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was very good and the portions are generous. The only downside was chips and salsa are a $6 appetizer. I get it, things are costing more now and St. Simon’s is a tourist area, but with the higher drink and food charged prices a basket of chips would be nice. $41 plus tip for an order of chicken fajitas, a beer, and a margarita.

Definitely not the La Plancha I remember. My corn tortilla beef tacos were so greasy that they fell apart as I picked them up. I had to eat them with a fork. The tortillas were old. My husband had to use the hot sauce to flavor his chicken fajitas. The chips weren’t what I remember them to be. Our dinner bill was definitely not worth what we paid. We definitely will never go back. The only plus was the server – who was on the ball and very nice.

This place was good, but really noisy. It was so hard to hear each other. The drinks were good and I had the nachos. I did like that they had vegetarian nachos with black beans on them. I recommend the street corn, which was really good.

Not your normal Mexican place…This is a hidden gem!!! My wife and I ate at La Plancha recently and will be going back soon. We started with the house margaritas (they were very strong) and chips. (Note: The chips don’t come with your meal but they were fresh and the salsa was to die for!) I ordered the tacos with steak, chicken and pork. Overall Very fresh and filling. I highly suggest trying out La Plancha on SSI.

Yes the food is that delicious. The best chicken tortilla soup we’ve ever had,and we’ve had it all over the world. The short rib burrito was excellent, packed with tender meat. The ground beef tacos were also a hit. Tried a frozen strawberry daiquiri, hit the spot. Very busy but the friendly staff didn’t miss a beat. Very fair prices

Hidden gem our go to for Mexican food. We like to share the macho nachos with a side of guacamole. Best skinny margaritas on the island ️ It’s wonderful that they support local small farmers! Comfortable dining experience inside and outside. Friendly helpful staff!
