Good place with authentic food. Servings were large and filling. Service was smooth and honest. food taste really good, and made with quality ingredients.

Good food, good service. Flavorful mole and green salsa with a little heat.

Favorite place for Latin food! Dishes are homemade from scratch by a family recipe. Never had a bad meal. Service is with a smile and the family wants your to be more than satisfied with your meal. Prices are lower than most every other place I’ve eaten. I drive over an hour to eat there, and it’s worth it! Truly a diamond in the rough!

The people there were super nice. But when eating we only got contacted 3 times, and there were only 2 other tables on a rainy day. The food just wasn’t good. There was no flavor to it. The salsa tasted like watered down tomato paste. I’m giving it this rating, but would be willing to try again. Maybe it was just a bad day?

Went here on a week night and ordered take out. While the food was good, the presentation was messy. The cheese and salsa was everywhere inside the bag, and all over my salad which wilted it. My hubby ate all of his, so that’s a compliment to the cook. The chips and salsa were my favorite. Will probably try again.

Probably the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. The tortilla chips seemed homemade and the salsa was really tasty. I had the mole poblano with pork and my partner had one of the combination meals with a tamale and an adovada enchilada, I believe. The mole sauce was excellent and the corn tortillas seemed fresh, the pork was just a little tough but had good flavor. The salsa Verde on my partners tamale was fantastic. The service was a little slow for not being very busy, but the place seems to be run by a family and they were very sweet. I only wish I had discovered this place sooner!

We have been going to this place for years but it seems it has changed the owners again… We used to love the home-made chips and they don’t have them anymore, our orders got all mixed up, I was supposed to get guacamole but got lettuce and sour cream instead. My husband ordered a bean burrito but got beer, the tamale was supposed to be beef and got pork instead., Etc. Its sad but we don’t think we’ll come back again.

Only thing stopping this place from getting 5 stars was the fact that they weren’t serving margaritas the night we were there. The food is outstanding (we ordered chori-polo, fajita’s and a burrito)! The chips are wonderful but the salsa is a bit watery for my taste.

I’m from Austin, Tx so I’m very critical about Mexican food, so, my review is somewhat biased. However, the food was fair and service was good. The wall decor was strange to say the least. I’m not use to eating with a Mexican voodoo doll hanging on the wall next to me.
