I visited this spot twice in one week with my husband because the food and drinks were so good. If you like fresh tacos and delicious cocktails this is a place you should try. The Al pastor tacos were my favorite. The meat was so tender and the house made tortilla took the taco over the top. They provide chips and salsa upon being seated and these were literally the best salsas I have ever had. The presentation of the the salsa is really cool too. It’s not just one type of salsa they actually bring out 4 different types ranging from mild to really hot, but they’re all very tasty. At both visits we had really good service, thank you Jamie and Bailey! They were very attentive and offered great suggestions for what to try.

I was very excited to see a new restaurant open at the Palms and had to check this place out while in Vegas. I sat at the bar and ordered the Yucatán Toucan (the skull drink) and the Creamy Prawn Tacos. They brought out a huge complimentary plate of dips and chips which were fresh and delicious. The tacos were excellent as well, I loved the crispy tortillas. I was completely stuffed the food is very filling. Great friendly service, I will be back for a full sit down dinner soon!

This place is phenomenal! The food, the service, the atmosphere. I will definitely be back. The street corn and Baja style tacos was really good. The salsa was fire! Great prices as well. Don’t pass this place up!

From getting sitted to the end everything was good. Service was awesome and food presentation was great. I love that there corn tortillas are made there. I gave it a 5 for service and atmosphere but they hit the mark on the food which I gave a 3 star. Out of all the meals my family and I got, we thought the nachos was the best. The food was a little flavorless though especially the tacos. Salsas were good and unique. Green salsa was my favorite The chorizo in my campechano tacos tasted a little sour so here I am thinking to myself its old??? I just ate one taco didn’t finish my food because I didn’t want to take a chance getting sick. Also I think it’s a tad pricey. I’ might come back and if I do I’m definitely trying something waaaaay different.

Well not popular to me. Everything is HOT. Our server was nice. The tacos were spicy, the guacamole was tasty. That’s it though.

It had a good atmosphere, but the higher-end feeling had us expecting good service. While the service was slow, i.e., we had to ask for water three times, our empty plates sat at the table for longer than expected, the waiter came to pick up the tab but forgot to give us the tab, the food made up for the lack of service. (I served tables for over 12 years and I’m not unreasonable.). I would give this place a second chance.

La Popular is the new Mexican restraunt located in the Palms Casino. The style is upbeat trendy Mexican. Fair warning, the tables for 2 are very small, and close together. Very easy to get to know the people next to you. The music is also very loud. So if you are looking for an intimate dining spot, and conversation with a date, this is not the spot. If you want some great food and a loud atmosphere then you will love it. From the beginning when they bring out the chips and salsa, it has the best presentation I have ever seen with chips and salsa. I did actually enjoy all the salsas as well. We decided to order a Chipotle bean dip for an app. The waitress highly recommended it when I asked, and it did not disappoint. This was the best bean dip I have ever had. We had a couple (maybe more) margaritas while we dined and they were delicious too. For main course we had had Quesobirria Tacos, Campechano Enchiladas, and a side of street corn esquites. Everything was delicious. Even though we were so full, we couldn’t say no to the churros, and I am glad we didn’t. The churros were so so good. I recommend pairing the churros with a Carajillo. I would even recommend stopping by the bar and just snacking on Churros while sipping Carajillos.

This has to be one the best Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas. The food was amazing… al pastor tacos were a hit. Food presentation was very unique, especially the nachos with name tags for the different salsas. It is definitely Kid friendly, they even served our toddler a courtesy plate with very fined chopped jicama and orange slices… what restaurant does that? Our server was super attentive …It was a very pleasant experience to eat there !

The strangest salsa ever had made with soy sauce? Real spicy and goes surprisingly very well with the bean dip found out. Liked everything, but seemed a lil off or they were trying for something that was catching me off guard coming here. All the salsas tasted alright to good but won’t be driving me back or even in the moment weren’t making me gobble all the chips up. Tho loved card that came out with them listing what was in each. The guac was fat, but the grilled onions chilies on top again caught me off guard scooping it up and mixing them in they seemed to have some sort of Asian influenced flavor coming thru that couldn’t quite pin point while guac by itself scoped to the side was a lil bland. Been dip was prob my fav w the funny soy sauce salsa
