Always, always delicious Italian cooking and a terrific wine list. Sometimes we sit inside, sometimes outside with our dog, but our favorite is to sit just the two of us at the bar and drink wines chosen for us by the amazing Katie, wines that she knows we will like, and that will accompany our food choices. I love this place!

This place is a treasure. Whenever we are in Santa Cruz, we make a point to have a fabulous dinner here. The salad was so good that we ordered two! Then the specials, which were delicious. All the while enjoying a well chosen bottle of wine. Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff.

Our 3rd dinner at this local gem in the past 6 weeks. Utterly charming restaurant in a former Post Office, and our new favorite restaurant in Santa Cruz. Delicious food, presented well, by attentive servers, in great ambiance. We went with the specials this time, and were not disappointed. We each had the halibut tartar with Piet de Sap melon, radish and shiso, which was both beautiful and delicious, with 4 contrasting flavors, colors, and consistency. Then we both had the entre (or secondi) special, the Papparadelle with braised lamb, pole beans, lovage and pecorino, which was fantastic – meaty, smoky, unami deliciousness, especially paired with the Pinot Nero, and some of La Posta’s fantastic bread. We finished up with a shared affogato. An exquisite meal, served by a delightful waiter. This is definitely our favorite go-to restaurant in Santa Cruz!
