This place is a real gem, though I’m sure locals know all about it. You can tell that whoever is in charge of the kitchen really loves food. Their tomatillo salsa is delicious, and their mole sauce is unique and tasty. It’s a bit of a drive from Evanston, but I definitely plan on coming back here!

We were there for lunch and had a great time. The food was delicious the oysters were fresh, I had some fish tacos and were amazing. My friend ordered the Chilaquiles in green sauce with steak, the steak was nice and tender. The soda water that they prepare with lime and salt and a little chili powder is to die for its a must try!! The whole staff is amazing but big shot out to our waitress Daniella who took excellent care of us. Would definitely recommend this place amazing food, drinks, and staff.

I ordered “mariscos en Parilla” I feel like I got skimped out. It does not look like the one in the picture menu. In the picture I did not show the crab mix. But they sure gave me a lot of it. Two mussels. 3 skinny crab legs. 2 shrimps in their shell 3 skinless shrimp. And a fish fillet. It does taste good. But I feel robbed. I know the owner has been through a lot. But I still support her business. I will be returning to support. But please don’t skimp me out next time smh
