I’ve never waited that long in my life for Mexican food. They are always super fast at everything. But when we got the tacos it was ok cause they were super delicious. I had 2 shrimp tacos. Just don’t come here if you are pressed for time . It’s takes about 25mins to get your tacos. Call ahead.

My partner and I are visiting LA for the week! I got the carne asada fries and my partner got the california burrito and a street taco. The carne asada fries came with a generous amount of cheese and meat – so I can’t complain about that 😉 we loved their hot sauce, it was flavorful and had a nice little kick.

Steak Chilaqhiles Plate for brunch. I’m not really sure what I was expecting as the menu selection was a recommendation from a friend, but I feel like I was expecting something a bit more. Everything on the plate was kind of mixed together and the egg was broken up throughout the plate that I felt like I had to find it. Maybe that’s what it’s like traditionally? Flavor wise everything worked well together though, although I found the steak a little bit tough, and going at around 10:00AM, a few things didn’t seem to be fully ready yet to be ordered.

If the order hadn’t been wrong with beef instead of chicken as ordered, the wet lettuce hadn’t been packed to make the mulita soggy, the special request on each item for salsa on the side completely ignored, and more than one tiny salsa for 4 items been given, the place still wouldn’t be worth returning to! Get with it!
