Nice people, great food. The chicken chile rojo is bomb and on weekends they do birria. It’s a little market with a parking lot right by IKEA and Walmart. Skip the Chipotle and meatballs in that shopping center and skip a half mile down the road and give this place a try.

Excellent food!!! You know when a Mexican food restaurant is filled with Mexicans, it’s good. Ive eaten at la rosa quite a few times and I’m left satisfied each and every time. There burritos are huge and filled with fresh ingredients! The breakfast burrito is by, far hands down the BEST I have ever had in my life! The girl the works there, piles on the bacon and and hooks it up fat with everything you want in just the right way! They stopped selling there delicious home baked pastries, which is really sad. They were so good, but the owner said it was too expendsive to bake fresh daily if they didn’t sell enough. The prices are also so much lower than any other place in the area.

The best lengua super burritos in town. I dare u to find one better. The only one that comes close is the taco truck at Ortegas West at the end of west capitol ave. The breakfast burrito is by far the best I’ve ever had…..ill order it for dinner!

I used to come here for the tacos – it was delicious. During the COVID-19 Pandemic (pre lock-down), they happened to sell toilet paper (remember when there was a shortage!). I was very happy that they sold it. I grabbed 2 packs (I was with my wife and son) and was told (very aggressively) only 1 pack per customer (they didn’t have signs saying 1 pack per customer btw). I was happy to oblige. I purchased some tacos and 1 pack of toilet paper. I quietly sat down and started eating the tacos. Here’s where some drama starts. In walks in a middle aged woman and literally grabs ALL the toilet paper packs from the shelves including the pack being held by another young woman. The young woman was literally holding the toilet paper pack in her hand and it was snatched out of her hand by this other middle aged woman. The unruly middle aged woman boldly walks up to the register and the same staff that told me “ONLY 1 PACK PER CUSTOMER!!!” rings her up without challenging her or telling her what he told me and the middle aged woman leaves. Mind you, the entire store of customers is watching at this point. I hate to pull the race card but I’m asian, the young woman whose toilet paper was snatched out of her hand was of African American descent and the middle aged woman was – you guessed it – white. I wish I recorded this incident on my phone but I was too upset in the moment. Was this a coincidence? Serendipity? Maybe. But these are the FACTS of what happened. If you want to still support this business it’s on you. Just know you’ll be supporting a business that didn’t, or should I say, couldn’t stand up to the “intimidating” aura of white entitlement. Not saying all white people act entitled but that middle aged woman certainly did. Never coming here again.

La Rosa Meat Market is a meat market and a Taqueria. Real Mexican food prepared, cooked and served by Danny and his wife, dad, and other family members. All ingredients are fresh and cooked to perfection. The place is clean a comfortable. The grocery part of the Taqueria has lots of different items you can find under one roof. From Pan to Micheladas to Pinatas.
