Lots of taquerias in Riverdale and most are authentic. This place is good & reasonable! I love getting good food in DC at a reasonable price. I had one steak & one barbacoa (stewed goat) taco with a side of guacamole. I love that they even give you chips & salsa. I’ve eaten here a dozen times and it’s always a treat for under $20. A Burritos for under $7 with a side of guacamole. Why would I go to chipotle or anywhere else?

Good place with great drinks, homemade tortillas, and good food. Very nice for a quick bite with good prices, lovely atmosphere (partner says it reminds him of mexico) with music, art work, and people enjoying food. It can get pretty busy but if you come on a weekday or an off time you will find it easy to get a seat. Service is friendly and the menu is wasy yo navigatw and includes a lot of pictures.

I did not feel welcome. Waited 15 mins for water and I repeatedly asked and was ignored. No one checked on my table the entire time I was eating. I had to go to the front and wait for water..finally someone got it for me. Will not be returning.

Mariachi band is good, I have tried most dishes here and haven’t found one that I love. Tried steamed shrimp today, and NO flavor at all. Salsa has no cilantro or onion could be better.

They serve mouth watering Pozole. It was sooo good! Also I had a chance to speak to the owner (I believe she’s the owner) she was a super sweet and friendly. I’m definitely coming back.
