Eric and the La Spezia fam knocked it out of the park. Get there early if you don’t have a reservation as this place fills up fast and rightfully so. The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella and fresh fish were exceptional. Don’t miss this stop on your visit to Kauai.

Absolutely delicious! This is the real deal. The homemade gnocchi melts in your mouth. We also tried the spaghetti and fettuccine. Hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Our service was great, too.

Fettuccine calabrese was great and a hefty portion size. Next time we’d get the fettuccine, charcuterie board, and end with sharing the chocolate tort. Be sure to get a reservation far out in advance.

La Spezia serves some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Nonna (grandmother in Italian) and her husband came here from Rome and started the restaurant years ago. If you’re lucky, her daughter, also an amazing chef, will be in the kitchen preparing your authentic Italian food. Everything is house made including the pasta. So so good. The charcuterie board for two was awesome. We shared a pasta dish and still couldn’t eat it all! We look forward to trying a dessert next time. Our server was wonderful. Be prepared for a noisy fun place.

This is a good Italian restaurant. We’ve been there twice in 3 days, I had the spicy meat balls (excellent) the lasagna (could well be the best I’ve had) and the Fresco di Mare, which was excellent as well, however it was served almost cold and in a cold plate. My wife had the lasagna on our 2nd visit, and the catch of the day (Mahi Mahi) on the first visit. She really enjoyed it.
