I went to La Stanza for dinner with a friend, and the place was packed. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. My friend and I ordered ravioli carbonara. It was super creamy, light, and flavorful. It was a decent serving size, but it was so good that it left me craving for more. They also provide you with complimentary bread. The bread and the dipping sauce (not sure of the name; probably olive oil of some sort) were really good, too. We also got tiramisu at the end, and it was delicious. Overall, it’s a great restaurant with reasonable prices, great food and great service.

My husband and I live close by this restaurant and come here often. It’s one of the few restaurants that we go to repeatedly in downtown Menlo Park (at least once a month). Excellent service. Our favorite pastas are the pear pockets and gnocchi. But the real reason we come here is for the desserts! Best cannoli in all of the Bay Area. The shell is nice and crunchy and filling light with some orange zest and pistachios. I usually share with my husband and we fight over the last bite. We brought our friend here (from Turin) and he said it reminded him of home. He ordered the tiramisu and cleaned the plate. The atmosphere is great and homey. Good wine selection as well.

The food is okay. The instalata was really good, actually my favorite, but pasta was something that you can cook at home. It didn’t have that taste of eating at a restaurant. The baguette that was served was defrosted and I would not be so sure about the home made pasta. I think there’s some space for improvement. Good service and there’s a parking lot behind the restaurant.

A delight. The pasta dishes are from fresh pasta made in-house. I had a cacio e pepe that was perfectly prepared with an ideal balance of the key ingredients. The wine list, while not huge, showed excellent variety. Best of all, the prices are not really high.

Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor… and perfect to mop up with the bread. … This place is a must try!
