We went to this restaurant last week. This is the impression I had. Their wine list is expensive and do not have all the wines in the menu. The cod fish portion was very very small compared to other restaurants and lacked seasoning. Food quality was so-so. I am Galician descendant and this is not a Galician restaurant. The service was good. It is not a restaurant I would like to go back.

Julio the manager is the best!!! Authentic Galician food and drink from Northern Spain. Fish was soft and tender but cooked to perfection, & the bunuelos are a must. The ambiance is calm & intimate yet authentic, almost minimalist.

We went to celebrate a friend’s Birthday 8 of us. Got in and the restaurant was empty, we were surprised since we got there at 12:15 pm. Sadly I have to give a bad review, service was very poor we had to be calling to get our glass of water refill, food was ok nothing espectacular for the high prices. It’s really overpriced, no refill in lemonade $8.00 for every refill, we almost fainted when we saw the bill for over $500., and no alcohol only 1 cup of wine in all. Very disappointed, will never go back.

We were great fans of the previous restaurant (Rincon Espanol) and my husband and I (also often with family) would go at least once per week. We tried Taverna de Ignacio with great expectations. The piquillo peppers were delicious. The fried calamari, while over-cooked and a too-small quantity for the price, were tasty.

I stopped by for a quick lunch and I found this place to be spacious with nice music and atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the servers were very pleasant and attentive. The bathroom was clean, which it’s very important to me. Overall, I had a great experience.

The Garbanzos were dry, the Peppers stuffed with Bacalao had no sign of Bacalao. The $29 Bacalao was 5 ounces of Bacalao and three thin slices of potatoes. Potatoes are cheap put some more. Had to order chips the plate was so small. Dessert Buñuelo were raw had to send them back.

I am Spanish from Spain, born in Barcelona, with Andalusian parents, and I am only going to say one thing, I have not found any more Spanish Restaurant that is…… Attentive, Professional, who accept constructive criticism and if before you leave the Restaurant you have a problem, with the service, the food or any other detail that happens to you, they will resolve it pleasantly. But do not say that everything is fine when they ask you and when you leave the next day you put a false rewiew and without being true, because you never gave them the opportunity to solve the problem, if there was one. Stopped for lunch with my wife this past Friday. The restaurant has minimal decorations, but it makes up with an excellent authentic tapas menu and great main dishes. Very friendly and attentive servers: Mili and Christian are super. The place gives you an authentic spanish feeling.
