We drove up from Atlanta pretty late and were looking for a late dinner. The 24-hour Denny’s was inexplicably closed, and I’m glad because it allowed us to find this place. The late night menu was limited, but some of the best fried calamari, fries and chicken tenders I’ve had, served quickly and hot. Plus the house-made margarita mix was super tasty! The wait staff was really helpful in making selections based on our preferences. We ate inside at a booth, but there was a jukebox, pool, darts and a large patio by the bar. Seemed like a fun place to hang out. Prices were very reasonable.

I just love La Tapa. ❤️ I’ve been so many times and have never had a bad experience. The drinks are great (good margaritas) and the food ALWAYS hits the spot. It’s hard for me to order something other than the firecracker shrimp because I’m hooked! But everything else I’ve tried is also delicious. Nachos, burger, fries, fried pickles, and the chocolate mousse cake.

The Bloody Mary was expertly made. The beef taco was incredible The best I have had. The fish tacos lacked any specific flavor just tasted like fish! All in all I will be making this new found gem a staple for me.

Great spot to have a drink and some great food with friends. Large outdoor patio and plenty of indoor seating. Pool table in the back for some extra fun and great options for draft, can, and tasty cocktails. Our group favorites are the avocado and chicken tacos but the chips were also really hitting the spot. Open later for food when there’s no one else and also actually great food is definitely a plus plus in my book! Cheers!!

Been here twice with my wife and is our new restaurant jam. Great food and friendly service. Probably the best Bloody Mary we’ve tasted and was original recipe it seemed. Coconut Margarita is great. Creative dishes I don’t find many places. Love the reggae selection.

First time there. Had planned to eat dinner. The service was so slow and awkward that we stopped just at a cocktail each. Very expensive drinks, but they were good, so that’s a plus (they get a star for that!). The atmosphere was poor, the ac either didn’t work or was off, the table was sticky, and their food menu seemed very expensive ($16 for tacos and fries). After sitting for about 10 minutes waiting on our drinks (one of which we had to change because they were out of ingredients) we decided to get Chinese takeout instead. After seeing the atmosphere, the sticky table, and the service, we felt the food wouldn’t justify a long wait and a high price. It was our first and last time going there. Hopefully your experience will be better! I think after tip it was over $34 for just 2 drinks total. FYI

Food was decent but the service left much to be desired. I arrived as part of a group of 15 for dinner, which the staff had assured us could be easily accommodated. 1 hour into the meal we were without water refills and no food yet…2 hours later we finally got our food and some more water. No status updates along the way, no apologies and seemingly no concern from the waitstaff.
