My wife and I love this place. The food is great. Authentic homemade tacos. Workers are so nice! I try to practice my Spanish there lol.

I see this truck out there almost everyday and it’s always packed! I stopped by one day to try it out and I was not disappointed. I ordered a chicken burrito and a esquite. My brother ordered the asada tacos. I really enjoyed my burrito, it was full of flavor and the green avocado salsa was fire with it! My esquite was pretty decent, it might of had a little too much cheese on the top but it’s okay. My brother really enjoyed his tacos. The people who work in there are very nice and friendly. Once you order your food l, it takes about 15-25 minutes for your order to be done depending on what you order! Highly recommend!!

It’s not a restaurant just a good place to get some awesome Mexican food. I loved this place growing up here. They can really hook up a burrito. I’ve been to many places from Tampa all the way to Miami and the food at La Tapatia is just better. Tacos, tortas, burritos, chicharrones, empanadas. What else can you ask for.

My wife & I came into get tacos because our normal place is closed. The tacos were good but the “owner” possibly, the lady who seems to be in charge is extremely rude. I asked if the tacos were good, I wasn’t being rude, genuinely asking but also trying to make conversation as it was our first time here and she rudely, extremely rudely responded “well they must be because we sell 100 pounds of tortillas”. Then we over ordered a bit, and had leftovers. My wife went to ask for a container, my wife doesn’t speak the best spanish and again the lady rudely replied. My wife jokingly turned around and said in Spanish, I’m sorry, I don’t understand, I’m a gringa” and she walked away. Another gentleman (one of the cooks) gave my wife the container and then was reprimanded in front of us for giving my wife the container. Good tacos, but we will not be back. Customer service is everything and if you can’t be nice, you don’t deserve someone’s business.

I purchased tacos. They serve a good portion, the tacos were not freshly made or the price being charged. I will not be coming back. Poor taste, service and fee.

They have such good food here! Get the chicharrones as early as you can. They’re REAL, meat and fat, perfect crunch. Heck, i even eat them at night. They catered for my wedding, that’s how good they are. Not a huge selection of food but whatever they have there is soooo good. You go and order and they’ll give you a slip of paper. While you’re waiting for your food, take the slip up front to pay, they’ll stamp it for you and the paper goes back to them when you get your food. They have tacos de asada (steak), pastor and carnitas (both pork), that I know of and if you ask really nicely, they’ll cut up your chicharrones for you too. It’s also a mini mart. They have candies, chips, drinks Etc all from Mexico. They have fresh corn tortillas and i think you can even send money to your families ie Mexico. Their rice is soooo yummy and my husband loves their beans. We eat here often cuz it’s so close to our house and they’re affordable.

IT’S A SHAME I HAVE TO GIVE THIS PLACE A STAR!!! The FOOD is horrible! I got two chicken burritos and it was absolutely disgusting, the chicken was reuse meat who know’s how many days old the chicken was. I regret buying food from this place. I should have just played my lottery and left. All the people give this place a “5 stars” rating, are family members. Do not get food from this place; I repeat do NOT GET FOOD FROM THIS PLACE! The food is TRASH! I wasted my money! This place need to STOP SELLING FOOD!!! I think it’s time for a food inspector to stop by this place….If you can’t make a tasty BURRITO with fresh ingredients that just shows the other stuff on the menu sucks as well. I’m so disgusted with this place just because of their FOOD, I hope I don’t get sick.

Tacos plantillas were soggy and taste like old frying oil. La carne al pastor had no taste/flavor and some of it was burnt.
