First off the food was delicious everything was seasoned properly. I didn’t have to put salt and pepper on my beans as I do at 95% of Mexican restaurants because this place didn’t cook them straight from can to plate. Fast service and had cactus for the first time. While I am not a fan it was definitely seasoned.

Had the fajitas. The flavor was good the service was good….but someone needs to learn how to cut beef fajitas in the kitchen. They cut it with the grain instead of across the grain which as most people would know, it made the beef very hard to chew….

Highly recommend!!! This Mexican Restaurant and Bar has the best breakfast!!! I own a catering business and I can attest, they have it on point! Our family of 11 enjoyed the best breakfast Sunday Morning! The place is quaint, clean, and the staff was very friendly. Presentation was perfect and food was delicious! Great Job Yoakum!!!

Popped in not knowing anything about this place and hardly ever driving through Yoakum. Upon entering, was greeted immediately and acknowledged my presence. Sat and was served fresh chips and some good spicy salsa! Took a while to decide cause they have an extensive selection. Got a chalupa plate(1 beef fajita & 1 ground beef) and a side of beans. Both had a very good taste and fajitas were tender and easy to bite through. Tea was fresh and place was comfortable. If I happen to go through, I’ll be stopping by shop the family can taste some good food! Price was very reasonable! Two thumbs up from me!!!

Food reasonably priced. I ordered nachos with steak and noticed it was shredded cheese that’s placed on the chips and microwaved and then beans and meat added. Taste like rubber. I asked mgr why they do that and her explanation was next time ask for melted queso cheese we use for dip. Didn’t try to fix it or remake it just ask for different cheese. Guess I’ll try something else

They have delicious food & even burgers. They also make good margarita drinks although they don’t have many selections. They are usually friendly & if you don’t speak spanish, the nice waitresses or waiters will usually explain to you what an item is. Some items are a bit pricey, but they are WELL worth their price for amazing food. The restroom is always clean & stocked.

There were two waitresses working & three tables to serve. We were served our food & never checked on after that. After waiting for someone to come back to ask if we needed anything, my husband walked to the kitchen to ask for jalapeños. No one ever returned to our table to ask if we needed a box/anything. Both waitresses were talking in the bar area & were very inattentive. I eventually walked over to grab us two to-go containers from the bar area. To which one waitress threw her hands up and said “uhhh”. Terrible attitude and customer service. This is a disappointment, as we use to frequent this restaurant every week. We will stick to emiliano’s. They have much better customer service!
