Loved this place. We stopped here before a 945 PM show at the Comedy Zone and had a great time. Drinks were amazing. Chips and salsa were perfect and the food being delivered to other tables looked amazing. Very good service and comfortable seating. The DJ played great music and the volume wasn’t so loud we were not able to talk. We left at 915 PM to get in line and it was clear the party was just getting started in La Unica!

This place is in music factory which is a nice little area in Charlotte with venues and restaurants alike. The decor is like street chic, I LOVED IT!! We recommended this place by our Uber driver and she did not disappoint!! The thing that appeal to us was the frozen margarita machine they had and a mid-size dance floor. The food was excellent!! We did get a hooka as well while we were there, but paid a separate vendor and it was $45 for 2-3 hits per person: I don’t know anything about hooka but that seemed a bit much for no more than we got!!

I’m torn on the review. It’s a very nice place, server was very sweet, food was amazing, large portions and well priced but it did take quite a while to get the food and the DJ had the music very loud. I’d go back but I would also not be in a hurry.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I sat at the bar for THIRTY MINUTES, the bartenders didn’t even lift their heads up. No water, no acknowledgement. We were looking forward to having a few drinks and a bite before the concert and we got neither. We had to leave because it could have been an hour before we got looked at. Ordered casa amigos margarita, which was perfect. Not too sweet or too strong. Balanced drink. The chips & salsa was good. Loved the spicy one. Also got the flautas which was good too. Service was pretty good. Waiter had energy. It was mostly empty when we entered then more people came in. They even played Afrobeats music for a little bit. Took me by surprise.

Haven’t actually eaten at this location but I have been here for latin night for dancing on Thursday and it’s a blast. The line to get in actually moved quickly, service for the bar was a little bit slow but they were trying to keep up between what looked like only 2-3 bartenders. Everyone was very nice music was good.

It was okay. But when there are big parties I recommend 3 or more servers. Our food and drinks were coming out but it was being confused on where to go so we were passing around plates. Lol. The food was delicious as long as you could eat it hot. But again they forgot my cheese dip and I had to ask 4 times to get it. No worries the 5th time I got it but it was to go. The atmosphere is more like a bar club scene and they turned on the loud fans and these bright disco laser lights things that kept shining in our faces while we were trying to eat which was kind of annoying. And the ac fans turned on which were blowing right on the table and made our food cold quick. Then the music seemed to get turned up and we couldn’t hear each other talk. I had to pack up my food to reheat and eat later on. But other then that food was decent.

Really great place to eat and enjoy good drinks. All of our food was very good. The restaurant had a good vibe if you want to let loose and throw back a few drinks while eating great Mexican food. We went pre-concert and will definitely return. Especially before a concert.
