A Mexican menu following original recipes offers you the taste you find in a restaurant in Mexico. We use tortillas prepared with nixtamalized Heirloom Corn to get the best tacos, enhanced with a variety of our house salsas, sides, and desserts to complete the experience.

This is a great addition to Pennington! Carne asada and cochinita tacos, empanadas, and quesadilla were each delicious. Chips and guacamole were excellent. They have a salsa bar with several options from not spicy to spicy, so take your pick! Highly recommend this spot. I can’t wait to try the flautas and a family meal. BYOB

We stopped by La Unica today, and were not disappointed. The empandas were good, and the tacos were absolutely fantastic — so flavorful and tender. The fresh corn tortillas were soft just like they should be. This is by far the best Mexican food I’ve had in NJ.

So happy to have a Mexican restaurant of this quality in Pennington. We had the Pibil (pork) tacos and the beef empanadas. Both were incredibly flavorful!
