As a first time visitor in Albuquerque, my family and I were looking for a great place to eat in downtown Albuquerque, and this place is it. The food is delicious, the service is beyond amazing, and it genuinely feels like I am eating at home. The owners themselves are at the front of their business and they didn’t let the late night surge of customers slow down their quality and their service. Highly recommend!!!

We were looking for a place that was still open after a tour. We found La Zenita online. They were open until 3:00 but we were the only customers at the time. We got the Royal treatment. They have a green sauce that was soooo good I bought a container to take back to AZ with me. I had the Gorditas with Asada and my wife had the Indian Taco with ground beef. We also tried the Sonoran Dog. Everything was amazing. The plates were enormous and we both had enough to take home. Talking with the staff was very nice. Everyone was very friendly. I’ll be coming back my next time in Albuquerque.

Now, THIS is real Mexican food! I have driven almost everywhere in New Mexico and I could never find a decent Mexican dish. At La Zenita, not only is the artwork beautiful, but the food and vibes are amazing. The food is real authentic Mexican food and it was so delicious! I highly recommend to anyone in the local area!

Andrés treated us to an amazing experience! It’s within walking distance of the train station. The restaurant is clean, and well decorated. I got the al pastor street tacos and they were excellent! The salsa is amazing too as well as the coconut lime jello! The food was affordable and delicious. 10/10 would recommend and eat here again!

We really enjoyed their street tacos. She made me vegetarian tacos that weren’t on the menu, delicious. Home made chips were a surprise and very tasty. I believe everything was made from scratch. Very friendly and I love the mural on the wall. We will be back.

If I could give it more stars I would. In town for work and this place is an absolute gem. Amazing staff, great service, delicious Mexican food. Would recommend the smothered burrito. Just upset I’m flying out tomorrow and can’t come back for another dinner!
