Tacos are about 3″ and you may get about 3 bites out of each one; it’s more like appetizer size. The fish and mango were good, but the shells had a very thick mealy texture similar to corn tortillas. Not really the soft tasty flour I was expecting. The burritos are much tastier and a much better value. Go for the burrito! Service was fairly friendly. Just be aware you might be automatically charged gratuity of 25%.

What a surprising little taco shop! We won a gift card, so we wanted to check out the food. Hubby ordered a steak burrito and I had the peanut butter chicken tacos! Definitely recommend this place, if you are on campus, you must check it out. I loved the charred jalapenos they offer at the lil’ salsa bar. Just perfect!!

Yum ! It has been years since I have. Even here and I don’t know why! Their food is great and the atmosphere is comfortable! The salsas make the meal even more delicious! If you haven’t been here I reccomend the pork taco with pineapple salsa! Nice spice and flavor! The guacamole is so fresh and we couldn’t get enough of it! If you are looking to try a tacos place with a different flare you should give this place a try !

Nice place and I’m glad they have a few vegan options. Mango salsa was really good. But the flour taco tortillas were so thin and floppy that most of the filling fell out. Just seems like they should be a little thicker.

My wife has been here a few times and recommended that I go, so we went on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one other customer there. The parking lot for the small place is sandwiched between large buildings that include the art center and Colorado College Armstrong Hall. It has a modern downtown vibe and the place, including the bathrooms, was clean. Outside was a large patio but it was a bit too chilly. We ordered mahi mahi and spicy pork tacos, chips and guac, and a drink for $21 with a small tip. (The register POC machine defaults to a 25% percent tip, which is generous for ordering at the counter.) Five to ten minutes later, the cashier brought our drink and food to the table. (I don’t know why he didn’t give us the drink, guac, and chips right after we paid.) The tacos were on a wooden board, and I was first struck by how tiny they were. They were the smallest tacos I have ever seen: I felt like Gulliver being fed by Lilliputians. The mahi mahi tasted mostly like cabbage because the fish was so small. Both tacos had fruit. I’m not sure why the guac was served in a disposable cup for a dine-in order. It all was underwhelming, but my wife suggested I come back for the burritos. I’m more inclined to go to Taco Bell, Del Taco, La Casita, Taco Express, Chipotle, Qdoba—many other places.

My absolute favorite taco place. They are simply divine. Super fresh ingredient and pretty importantly here, the shells hold together very well despite all the salsa. The restaurant is always clean and service is prompt. I would lease my firstborn child for the chance to eat these every day.

Amazing, I’ve had almost everything on the menu. The Baja steak burrito is my fave!!! The food is made to order so it is fresh. The rice is sticky and fluffy so it goes perfect with everything. La’aus is def on my top 5 list for fave spots to eat. Can’t get enough of Laaus.
