My mother and I had a GREAT plant based meal at Lady and the Shallot. Unfortunately they were out of first choice, the air fried potatoes (that may have been our fault as we came later in the day) but both of our meals turned out fresh and delicious! And most of the ingredients were from other vendors in the market. We experienced great and friendly service but the cherry on top is when they brought out the potatoes that we originally wanted just to try and at no extra charge. Couldn’t recommend more!

Came up here from Delaware. Was really excited for the food. Got the Brekkie Box. It was nice and wholesome, food and staff. They even treated me to some goodies when they found out it was an hour ride for me (I love people who feed me). Food was nice and fresh and they apparently use local produce, which is a plus. Loved the way they interacted with their customers as well. Highly recommend if you’re in the area or just passing through.

Wanna give a shout out for Lady and the Shallot, for Kara, Francesca and Katie for making me the most delicious Gluten-free Sandwich on incredible crusty bread not like any other gluten-free bread I’ve ever had ❗️with the freshest farm veggies. roasted pepper salad, Chipotle sauce that was out of this world, just everything fresh from the farm Their elderberry ice tea helping me nurse along a cough and it’s delicious can’t say enough about how good their food is and how kind everyone is there please let them know how much I appreciate everything, also tried the tacos with veggies Scrumptious ❗️❤️

First of all, the food was so so delicious!! My companion and I shared the rainbow tacos and the smothered spuds. We also got their infused waters. As someone from California, I was craving some fresh meat-less fare, and Lady delivered and then some. Every bite was packed with flavor. And second of all, the two running this business couldn’t have been friendlier or more welcoming! They clearly love what they do, and it shows in the food. Will definitely be back! If you want a break from Jersey cheesesteaks and pizza, come here for a delicious breath of fresh air!
