Came here for a late lunch with my grandparents (their go-to local Mexican, my first time). We were seated promptly, served warm chips and salsa. Staff were all courteous and speedy. I ordered the shredded beef Chimichanga which was excellent! The beef was exactly what I was hoping for: very well-flavored, tender, and moist. My grandparents both got the street tacos, one order of steak and one chicken. Those looked great as well and they ate all them. All prices were reasonable and portions were filling. The atmosphere was nice; well-decorated with Mexican music playing. If I’m ever looking for Mexican in Canandaigua again, this is where I will go.

Best food and drinks I’ve had in my entire life! Service was on point and the food was absolutely phenomenal! They have the best margaritas and burritos ever and you get complimentary chips and salsa! Super affordable as well. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely be coming here on the regular

Griffin was a great waiter. Food was delicious, and margaritas fantastic Delicious! What a great stop for authentic Mexican food and drinks. Had the cheese enchilada and two bean burritos. It was fantastic. Trying the vegetarian lifestyle and this plate was filling. My friend had the some burritos as well and said it was delicious too. Great staff who were super friendly. We will definitely be back.

We finally took the recommendation of family and friends and tried Laguna Grande out and were glad we did – the atmosphere is just what we personally look for when eating out… casual and comfortable. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was DELISH! High portions for all of us and a reasonable cost for what you got. I don’t know much about cuisine to know if this is “authentic” Mexican cuisine, but it felt it to me, and we loved it! 🙂

The food is awesome and let’s not even mention the margaritas, they were phenomenal. The staff is pretty nice and welcoming. Overall it’s a great place!! Definitely will be coming back !!

Excellent cuisine. Diverse menu, friendly staff. Drinks were good. I am all for authentic food and I think this was great! If I were to make any criticism, it would be the menu design and that was I was unaware of there were special dishes; I love specials because they are a chance for the cooks to express their talent and skills. I enjoy having dishes that are out of ordinary. Tonight was first night, hope to return and try something again.

We had gone to Laguna Grande many times before and have always been happy until today. We arrived around 1245. We were seated promptly and waited about 15 minutes before our waiter came over to get our drink order and bring us chips and salsa. Our “server” Edgar after taking our food order came back about 10-15 minutes later to ask what type of meat we wanted in one of our Burritos. After watching at least 3 tables that arrived after us order and receive food we decided it was time to leave. At this point we were in the restaurant nearly an hour. Edgar blamed the kitchen being back up although lots of others were being served hot food in a timely fashion. After paying for our drinks the manager showed us the POS food order which showed the kitchen only received our order around 128 which was well over 20 minutes after we placed our order. I hope if Edgar continues as an employee he continues as a bus boy or dishwasher because he shouldn’t be interacting/lying to any more customers. Good news is we went to Rio and had a great family lunch. Not sure if we will be back but hope this gets corrected for the sake of other customers.
