So good!!! The juice are actual fresh fruits, we had the mango and papaya and they tasted freshly made. For lunch we had the azteca torta (amazing) and the chicken pozole (deliciously grandma-made taste). Big portions so share or take the other half home 🙂 our server Jessica was also so kind. It’s been about a year living in Mahopac and I’ve just finally come here. The food is delicious and the portions are plenty. Ordered the drinks to go, and they pack a punch. They are a little expensive, but worth it for a treat. Their flan is also very tasty. Would recommend coming here 10/10 throughout the rest of the pandemic and after.

I absolutely love Laguna. The store has so many different ingredients you need for Mexican and other Central American/Latin foods, the staff is very friendly, and the hot bar is absolutely out of this world. My whole family loves Laguna, and it’s unbelievably affordable. Definitely the best hidden gem around.

This is truly Mahopac’s best kept secret hidden in plain sight. The grocery is fully stocked with Mexican specialties and hidden in the back, a restaurant with beautiful murals, a serious Tequila and Mezcal bar, and some of the best Mexican food I’ve had outside of Mexico. The owner is sweet as pie and offers shots of high quality tequila for $5 while you wait for your food to be prepared. Don’t sleep on the homemade tres leches!

I love that it looks like a little hole in the wall next to the laundromat- but you get hit with immediate charm and happiness as soon as you walk in the door. Amazing food, and a great variety of treats and provisions. Everyone is very nice, and always helpful.
