The Yoga Chick
We stopped by here after checking out a movie. The loud music peaked our interest. My husband and I sat at the bar. I had a margarita and he had a draft beer. I also ordered 6 hot lemon pepper wings. So…the margarita was cool and my husband liked his beer. My wings were seasoned perfectly. I almost want to go out there and say they were the best seasoned wings I’ve ever had.

This was our first time ordering from here. I ordered a shrimp basket and a catfish basket that was $12 bucks a piece and had it delivered by Uber eats. It taste ok but not a good deal for your money. Instead of a basket this should be called a snack. My boyfriend ate two pieces of the shrimp before I took the picture. They are literally baby shrimp. This was disappointing for 24 dollars. We won’t be coming here again.

NEW CHEF NEEDED ASAP!!! I live in the area and we thought we found a cute new spot. We went on a Tuesday evening. The drinks were good but the food not so much. My girlfriend wanted the white beans and rice but they didn’t have any. So she ordered red beans instead. They were overcooked. We both ordered catfish. It wasn’t good at all. The sweet potato fries were burnt, the second time they were overcooked but seemingly due to the fryer being too high. I want to go back but only if there was a new chef. Oh please get the bartenders trays to carry the drinks.

I left a review on a previous page but it closed down due to low rating and the facebook page with 5 stars ratings were from employees I recognized. Only reason I’m leaving this review is because if I had seen some honest reviews, I would have not wasted my time and money. The margarita drink taste weird like plastic. We ordered the nacho $10 for a handful of chips, 3 shreds of chicken and barely any cheese. Gumbo $12 that does not taste like gumbo too salty, can tasting soup. A cup portion in a big bowl. I had fried shrimp with fries $15. They used fish fry breading and too salty. Fries were o.k. We barely ate the food and our bill came up to over $40. The worse part was the flies buzzing around us and the dead ones on the window sills. We told them we were not happy and just wanted to get out of there. We went to another restaurant since we barely ate the food. Save your money and time.

I ordered some expensive gumbo and got really excited, I love gumbo, but what they gave me was quite mysterious. It was a thin, extremely salty soup with a few bits for what I thought might be fish products mixed in, but nothing like I’d seen before. Might’ve been shrimp, might’ve been calamari. Not sure.

After waiting for over 40 minutes for a Po Boy and Grilled Cheese and Fries, I asked to cancel my order and just rush my son’s food. I spoke with a young lady (who I think was my server) who offered to take care of my drink but I declined as I felt paying for what I received and providing feedback was more important. She also advised that due to overwhelming to-go orders, our order was not handled in a timely fashion. The Owners Wife stopped by the table to ask what happened. I was surprised she was not already aware. Once I explained, I asked to cancel his food too as we could not take it into the movies and handed her $10 to pay for my drink. She mentioned a Surf n Turf to which I laughed and advised was not part of my order as I do not eat meat. I waited 10 minutes for her to come back with my $3 change, during which time a male server asked if there was an issue. I told him what happened and advised I was waiting for my change so we could leave. He shrugged, threw his hands in air and walked away. When the Owners Wife returned, I took my change and told them they should be ashamed of themselves. I was never presented with a check/receipt but the last time I checked my math, $6 + 8.25% is not $7. I guess she took her tip for bringing our drinks after 20 minutes. After leaving the establishment at 3pm to head to the movies next door, I stopped at the tent for the Back to School event and spoke with the Owner. He apologized, advised that he was short staffed due to multiple locations and over commitment but, if we would come back this afternoon, he would ensure we received the food and service as expected. We went to the movies and upon returning to the establishment, the Owner advised that upon his return, he was told about an irate customer, who was face to face with a server. I immediately asked if his staff was referring to me as not only do I not conduct myself this way but my 5 year old is with me. He also advised he pulled the receipt ticket and said the timing was off. I promptly showed him the text messages from a friend of mine which I was texting the entire time as she was coming to join us. The Owner,and his Wife, stood at the front counter and said his staff said it was me who behaved this way. I asked the Owners Wife who I had a confrontation with and ask what was them problem. Her response was I don’t know, I came to see if we had one. At this point I told them to have a nice day and left.

This place has do much potential. However Ive been here twice and the food is not that good. Lastnight the waitress served me boneless wings when I ordered bone in. She brought the food and said “oh we ran out of the other wings” I informed her to warn the customer dont make the decision for them. Anyhow the 40 inch tv to watch the fight is too small. The drinks watered down. When they have live DJ nights its cool. The place needs a good makeover some nice paint. And better food, people want food even latenight.

My little family and I came here because I wanted seafood but didn’t want to drive to far, high cost and it seemed inviting. Our host was nice, our waitress was new, and you could tell it’s a new business. I ordered gumbo because I figured I’d try it since I’ve heard so much about New Orleans gumbo. It was salty and I just couldn’t really pin point the taste but I didnt really like it. I ate it to not waste food. I ordered something for my 2yr old after a while and it took almost 15-20mins for a grilled cheese. Got ready to go and I decided I wanted a slice of pie. Apparently, the cook thought fries instead of pie and that took awhile. I mean, idk it wasn’t great but it wasnt stone cold horrible.

The food was not very good. I was hoping for better. The macaroni was cold and not homemade. It was like a cross between Velveeta and Kraft. The red beans and rice was dry. I ordered shrimp and grits to go and it came in a little round container. On top of the portion size, it wasnt that good! I really hope it gets better, we don’t have another spot like it in Snellville.

waited 2.5 hours for food. beignets (spellcheck) were ok but too small to even know for sure and after starving for an hour it didn’t matter, kids shrimp basket came with 4 salad shrimp, chicken tender kids meal had one salty small tender, shrimp poboy was incredibly salty. ended up having to stop at Burger King for the kids because they were still starving.Overall not a good experience with the exception of karaoke.
