Was excited to give this place a great review but that did not happen. Got there at 2:15 on a Friday afternoon. The place was not busy, two tables inside and we ate outside. Six people in the whole place. We immediately ordered before we went back outside to our table because we knew what we wanted for the most part. We waited 40 minutes for our food, no big deal. We get our food then about 10 minutes later the server asked us how it was. I told her it was horrible. The fries tasted like they were cooked in the fish oil and were cold. The Mac and cheese was cold and tasted old. The fish was cold, the hush puppies were so greasy and over cooked the turned to powder. The only thing that was good was the shrimp. She said she would go get the owner. After waiting for 15 more minutes for the owner i went inside and paid my bill and asked if the owner was going to speak to me. She said she would go ask. When she came back she said the owner said she was busy and would be out after while. That, that was it. That was what will make me never go back there again. I can handle slow service, i can handle bad food, i can not and will not handle bad service. I was really on the fence about posting this but it popped up on my phone wanting a review. I hate to give a small business a bad review like I said i took a picture anticipating giving a great review.

Came here for my father’s birthday and it was a great visit. We were seated immediately, the very polite server took our drink order. She came back promptly with our drink and took our orders. The sweet iced tea is southern style, so that’s an extra star in my book. We all ordered different things from a very diverse menu. Our food showed up in a very reasonable amount of time because of what we ordered. The Smoked BBQ was excellent, the Atlantic Cod was lightly battered, perfectly cooked, the Shrimp was tasty and the butter cooked Pepper Jack Grilled Cheese sandwich was crispy on the outside, but gooey on the inside. Fries were good, coleslaw wasn’t overly wet and went perfect on the Smoked BBQ. The fried squash was tasty and perfectly portioned. The price was appropriate for the food ordered. The servers were very polite, took our order correctly and checked on us throughout the meal. Plenty of parking, all on one level, one step up from the parking lot up to the restaurant. Few covered tables outside, more on the inside, nicely spread out.

This place just opened. The food was delicious and cheap. We have a family of 6. We were able to eat breakfast for $35.00 so worth it. Coffee is great too. Also this is the best city ham I’ve ever had

I was very satisfied with our brunch. Lots of food eggs, hashbrowns,bacon,sausage, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes for $12. Was a much better value than the lodge. Everything tasted great. Out server was very attentive a great about answering all my questions. The interior is nice, a friendly family atmosphere.

We decided to try the place out, we had visited it before under a different name and it was delicious, so we was hoping for the same result. We got there around lunch time and of course they were busy, which was not a problem at all. We all got sweet tea to drink and the first fill was amazing, the second not so much. We were told the wait for food would be about 45 minutes after we ordered, again not a problem. We ordered an appetizer, which was good, not hot but still good. We ordered our food and waited for about an hour. When we finally got it our food was cold, well some of it. My husband got a burger and fries, the bun was hard and the burger was not hot, the fries were cold and stale tasting. I got the catfish sandwich and while my sandwich was tasted great, it was a small piece of catfish on a very big bun, I ended up not eating most of the bun and eating the fish itself, which was good, my fries were also cold and stale, I didn’t even eat but two fries because they were awful. My daughter got chicken tenders and a baked potato and her chicken tender was no longer hot. My son got the chicken nuggets and fries, his fries were also cold and stale and his chicken nuggets were not hot as well! I will say besides the food being awful, the service was good, the girls there were very respectful and sweet. I would like to try it again to give them another chance, hopefully next time will be much better.

Asked waitress if they were serving breakfast, and she responded with “stopped serving at 11”. It was 5 minutes at most after 11, and the chalk board clearly states breakfast platter all day. Waited way too long for same waitress to take our order and had to ask twice for sweet tea. In my opinion, workers are too young and immature. Food wasn’t bad. Will eat here again, but service needs improvement.
