Oustanding! This is the hidden gem of Huffman, Tx!!! Sam Houston himself would have loved the chicken fried steak! It was worth the wait. We also tried catfish and shrimp special! Sooooooo good! I rate it a 10 out of 5 for a hole in the walk with amazing food and great service.

Great menu options. The bacon cheese burger had tons of flavor, juicy and the perfect bun. The frito pie was crunchy and has a very favorable chili sauce. The Philly cheese steak tasted pretty close to the ones from Philly, just needed a little au’jus or mayo. Mozzarella sticks had so much great flavor you didn’t need a dipping sauce and cheese was so melty. The onion rings were crunchy and had a great oniony flavor. The fries were fries…lol. over all excellent experience experience. Mimi waited on our table and she was fantastic. There was no issues with service or timing of food delivery.

Ordered chopped beef sandwiches, sauce and onions on the side. When we got home, there was no sauce or onions. The manager told me that I could come back, any day and get the sauce and onions. Terrible customer service!!! Check your order before you leave!

Brought 5 kids in for ice cream. Girl was confused the entire time. There was no list of ice cream so we had to name them off to the kids multiple times. Ordered all kids ice cream. Watched the girl leaned over the ice cream freezer hair down flipping her hair around the entire time. Hair falling down right where she was scooping all my kids ice cream. Asked about crawfish she was confused sat around waiting for my last 2 toddlers scoops and no one was around. Went to the other window and they were all standing around at the register. Canceled our order and was trying to pay for the ice cream we did get. Tried to charge for the toddlers scoops we didn’t get. Tried to charge for the 3 bottles of water we never got. Crawfish smelled good but wouldn’t know how it tasted since we couldn’t even get the order made. Girl didn’t know anything.

i think people that bash this place with bad reviews just go here expecting it to be like a full on restarant like Chili’s or something and they just like to complain …. i went here twice this last week and the a1 burger and fries for 10.95 was way better then Chilis etc…..and the grilled catfish and shrimp was awesome for 15 dollers…..i hope this place hangs on till they finish the road work this place could be a cool little hangout type 80’s place that must be the owners era

The sign on the door should’ve been a dead give away suggesting to the customer to let the staff know of any problem one might have, but that would be hard seeing as we were not even paid attention to. Waited 30 minutes for an appetizer that never came. People came in after us and were given priority. Server looking outside to watch a situation you couldn’t change instead of taking care of customers. If you’re not an old white person, I don’t suggest trying this place.
