Wow! What a meal! Few days ago on our way home from a photo shoot my daughter and I stopped to grab an early dinner. At first we thought we were way under dressed and maybe they wouldn’t have anything for my vegetarian. The waitress asked us if we would like to be seated and I mentioned my concerns. She quickly told us we were fine and stated the chef would be happy to put together a vegetarian option.

The appetizers (spinach and artichoke dip, crab cake) were really excellent, the dinners were fine (veal and mushrooms, steak), the chocolate walnut pie for dessert was outstanding. My SO and I will absolutely be back, but will probably just share apps and dessert next time (which will be affordable too).

What a wonderful restaurant with a very nice fine dining atmosphere. It was a busy Friday night and they were a bit short staffed but it gave our dining party some extra time to unwind. The scallops were great and the steak was good. Although the appetizer costed more than on the menu. They had also upgraded a side salads to a meal sized salad without the customer’s consent.

Pleasantly relaxed feel for a finer dining experience. We greatly enjoyed the spinach&artichoke dip (so creamy), crabcake (a well balanced meal in itself with refreshing salad and exquisite sauce), and walnut pie (homemade with molten chocolate layer). Portions were generous and price was lower than expected for the quality. We’ll be back for these three at the least. Veal&crab entrée was a bit less stellar, leaning too much on a mushroom earthy flavor for my taste. The buttered lobster tail was on the tough side with a too bitter sauteed salad, good for presentation and tasty enough together but not a cut above.

WOW! What an amazing evening at Lake Ridge. We picked this cozy, romantic spot for our 3rd anniversary and it did not disappoint! We started with the Lobster Betty and the Artichoke Soufflé… Both to die for!!! Then we tried to make room for our entrees: The Duck and the Lamb Chop special. SO GOOD, we had to take home leftovers! That didn’t stop us from ordering dessert… The Creme Brulee & La Bomba. We will definitely be returning before anniversary #4!

We’ve been going to Lake Ridge for years. Since it’s near our home, sometimes we pop in for a quick bite at the bar but most of the time we make a reservation (recommended) and sit at a table. On our most recent visit we were having a family birthday dinner. The service was excellent and everyone’s meals were perfect. In my opinion, Lake Ridge does a particularly good job with fish so be sure to order one of their fish dishes from the menu or try one of the fish specials.
