Looked like a nice trendy place to hang out with drinks. I noticed service was slow based on someone walking up to the server to ask for the sprite and people waiting in line to pat. But, it was 6pm friday so I know things can get busy.

Best bean, rice and cheese burrito I’ve ever had..and that’s saying a lot because it’s my go-to dish. Very friendly staff and there was a nice shaded patio for dogs out front. This has definitely become one of our regular spots.

Great food, large potions, and some super awesome signs. The outdoor patio was also super colorful. The chips that came out before our meal were homemade potato chips and they were absolutely amazing and not what we expected at all!

Love the new location down town! The staff is friendly and food is delicious! We got burritos, love the home made potato chips that come with. Happy to support a local business!

Small family spot. Do not be freaked out by the potato chips they put on the table after they offer to bring chips and Salas. They are really good and the green sauce is to die for.

Don’t let the outside fool you. The employees are very friendly and the food is excellent. We were very impressed with the quality of all of the entrees. The margaritas were very fresh and had a great flavor. Highly recommend if you are looking for a casual dinner in Hood River!

Avoid. The difference in service and the quality of food we received vs the service and quality of food the table next to us received was shocking. Our table didn’t even have napkins or forks, the 7 of us noticed that the Mexican family next to us had everything, the older gentleman refilled their chips, drinks, brought them napkins, and beautiful food, ours looked like straight up tacos bell, and it was ordered exactly the same way. I was hesitant to post this, however it was VERY clear we weren’t welcome, they made it almost uncomfortable.

Got a “carne asada” burrito to go and boy was I EXTREMELY disappointed. I have never had anything so bad in regards to a burrito in my life. The meat I appeared to be imitation meat. The burrito itself was shoved full of rice which was basically like eating a bowl of rice. That wouldn’t even have been that bad if the rice at least had flavor, which it did not. There were a few pinto beans scattered throughout, again VERY bland. The pico de gallo the use was no more than a sliced tomato here and there. Again, never have I had such a terrible experience with a burrito. I am also from SoCal so I do have higher expectations but none theless I am lenient some on taste as long as they try. I threw half away and cringed to give the other half to my dog.

Best Mexican food in Hood River! I got the recommended shrimp and asada tacos that are on delicious homemade tortillas. They also gave me a side of homemade chips with 2 hot sauces, onions and cilantro. Worth a stop in.

New location is awesome and the food is amazing mostly. I’ve had a few more simply items that were just “good” but the highlights are incredible: Granachas w/ Adobada, Shrimp Taco, Fish tacos, Marena and the Margarita I got the other day was for sure the best in town. Fresh lime and homemade simple syrup. Food isn’t like typical greasy spoon Mexican food from a cheap place. Authentic and homemade
