Food was great! We were there in a group of 4, Diane was our server, she was great! We sat outside, it was hot, but it’s summer, ya gotta sit outside! We had the Jambalaya ( 2 of us ) perfect! Yum! Just the right amount of spicy, loved it! Others had Flank Steak & the Walleye which both came with cheesy hash & veggie. One was a little disappointed on lack of starch options, would of rather had a baked potato with his steak, but… All in all, pretty happy for our first visit, will be back.

2nd time here in a couple weeks. Everything was on point! Love the scotch eggs, cheese curds and the Lake Superior smoked Whitefish dip- you have to try! Food is great, servers are friendly and attentive. Definitely a new favorite of ours!

So excited to have a new place to go with wonderful food and drinks and great service! My group ordered the grand pear martini and the fancy Nancy martini. They both were fabulous! We had the cheese curds, black and bleu burger, mushroom Swiss burger, steak sandwich, and walleye sandwich. All were absolutely delicious! Our server was top notch! As others have mentioned, it is loud in the building. It would be an all around great experience if they would install some acoustical baffles or booths to cut the noise. We’ll definitely be returning again soon!

We were a group of five, and arrived about 4:30 on a Friday. Turns out some of the menu items (the pastas and “Tav Features”) aren’t available before 5. Being in no hurry, some of us ordered those and we all relaxed with beers. It was already getting busy, but spending time was comfortable and not annoyingly loud. Our server kept track of us and the food arrived soon enough. I had the Jambalaya, which was huge and delicious. There was enough heat to it that I had to pace myself!

Nice upgrade to what was there before. Same layout, just different look. I see reviews complaining about the pricing but they are pretty similar to another place not too far away (which I also frequent), it’s newer and let’s be honest…food prices are not going down only up. My grocery bill is crazy high!

Today we tried Lakes Tavern. Every thing was amazing. Highly recommend the smoked whitefish dip, crispy chicken sandwich and the Champagne salad. The quality of the ingredients was delicious. All staff was very professional. Amy our waitress did an excellent job.
