Fast service and good food. Large portions great for sharing. I loved the fried rice and beef pepper steak The chicken and vegetables were not my favorite …something to do with the texture …it had good flavor. Will definitely go back.

If you want to experience the worst Chinese food EVER, this is the right place for you. Absolutely the worst Chinese meal that I’ve ever suffered through. Every bite was difficult to work through. Panda Express is suddenly a Michelin rated restaurant in comparison. This place can’t become a Wendy’s anytime sooner.

I was happy to discover this place where it’s tasty Chinese food served family style with a course of soup and appetizers. We went with the typical Mongolian beef, and sweet and sour pork and both got a thumbs up. Simple dishes, their appetizers and soup were the stars of the meal. it made me want to try something more adventurous from a chef specialty section. Clean, and bright settings, it’s Chinese with a lot of class. Friendly staff I had nothing negative about this restaurant

Absolutely the worst chinese food I ever had. First time ordering chinese in California. I ordered kung pao chicken and it has absolutely NO kung, pao or chicken! I don’t even think it’s Chinese food.

Food was not really good, and very small portions. I don’t eat meat so i wanted to replace beef for tofu and they charge me 2$. Also 2.5$ for a plastic cup of sprite… The meet my wife order was not good. And to end i was so intimidated while singing the check cause the waitress was looking on how much i was going to tip. Dang this place is bad, so many good Chinese around like Big Chopsticks 20 times better.

Lakeside recently changed ownership. What once was an awesome restaurant has now degraded into subpar quality. This was my favorite restaurant but I must say the food is no longer delicious. New ownership did keep the original menu; however, the quality of the food and serving size has greatly suffered. The food lacks flavor and freshness. My husband ordered Orange Chicken,, which came out more like hard tiny bits of deep fried flour lacking chicken. It was too hard and dry to eat. Spring rolls are now 1/3 the original size and are mainly fried roll with very little filling. Not sure what the filling was, it was mushy and dark colored, while the dough was rubbery. The spring rolls were NOT what you would expect. Finally, One of my favorite low carb dishes, Seafood HAPPY Family, which used to have an abundance of grilled succulent fresh giant shrimp and large scallops and chicken breast with steamed veggies and white sauce now is a mush of small shrimp and dried chicken coated is a slug of flour and corn starch. There was only 1 tiny bit of scallop. The dish tasted of gooey starch. Freshness of vegetables was lacking. Instead of big broccoli flowerettes, the dish was loaded with thinly sliced zucchini and carrots. The new owner may have kept the original menu but ingredients are no longer the same. In addition, staffing has changed. What once was a friendly and warm atmosphere has turned into cold indifference.
