First, I was impressed by the knowledge of our server. Many servers these days do not know exactly what they have on tap and what sodas they have. This server knew everything about these and was also well versed in the menu. She told us that almost everything is homemade both on the salad bar and on the menu. After tasting, it is obvious. The orange roughy was delicious both broiled and batter-fried. The salad bar was small but filled with many fresh and delicious choices. No ice berg or romaine on this salad bar, it was mixed greens. There was a fresh grown tomato salad, julienned zucchini and carrot salad, and refrigerator pickles. The house dressing was really good as was the homemade tomato basil soup. We will definitely be going back again.

Very Disappointing! Six of us went on a mini Winery tour for the afternoon and stopped for what we hoped would be a great dinner. It has only been two weeks since we stopped but I already forgot what I ordered, I do know what my spouse ordered as it never showed up. A burger with no bun! She ordered it that way as she has a gluten allergy, and when it came it of course was on a bun. Our server apologized and said she wrote it down wrong and would have it remade. Well we ate and she watched and by the time we were all done still no new burger so she asked for it in a box. My spouse was taking it all in stride but when we asked if they were going to show us some love the response was priceless. She brought the checks and they gave her 20% off, wow. I paid with no tip but my friends bill was all mixed up and our server said you screwed me up by moving all around (we never left our seats) and after 15-20 minutes the guys came out shaking their heads. Apparently, no one knew how to work the charge machine and ultimately they were charged twice. After a phone call I’m told it may be fixed but what a fiasco. We for six will not try it again.

Not impressed. The salad bar was nothing to write home about. My prime rib was cold and the chicken breasts were over cooked. They also tried to charge us $7 a piece for a kids trip to the salad bar. We ended up changing it on the tab and left because the waitress was so insanely slow. I rarely rate restaurants but I felt this needed to be called out.

For the price poor at best. Maybe they do a good burger, as for a super …. Keep practing. Service very poor must pay well because staff didn’t try to earn great tip, love to over tip someone that works hard. Two stars is only because I love my old home. Hope it was an off night, sure wasn’t because of a large crowd twenty people tops. Won’t risk that much money there again.

Sadly had high hopes for this place, what a let down. It’s like they’re giving up or something. I ordered the filet and was not impressed. Way over-priced for what you receive. The water is straight-up well water, and it’s terribly rusty tasting. They proceeded to make fun of us for not liking it. Calling folks who don’t like well water “city slickers” and the like. Maybe they didn’t want us back? Who knows. It was all around a very strange experience. We wont ever go back.

Best restaurant in this area of Minnesota! No “American Pub” style pre-fab here, these are great chefs! everything in the menu is prepared with TLC! Friendly staff and beautiful landscape. Once again, the best restaurant in this area of Minnesota! Get the steak and add mushrooms and onions, it’s the best!
